    摘要: A serial printing mechanism which employs a type wheel having a plurality of type characters has a single motor mounted on a carriage employed to accomplish plural functions. The single motor selectively rotates the type wheel to locate the predetermined type character in front of the typing position, and shifts the carriage. The carriage drive which shifts the carriage along a platen is powered by the single motor through a clutch which selectively engages the motor with the carriage drive.

    摘要: A magnetic tape recording and/or reproducing apparatus which has a magnetic head, two tape winding reels, a first capstan and a first pressure roller opposed thereto, a second capstan and a second pressure roller opposed thereto, the pressure rollers being movable into contact with the capstans for transporting a magnetic tape. Two fixed motors are coaxial with and directly drive the respective capstans. A tape direction control is connected to the pressure rollers for selectively bring the first or second pressure roller into contact with the first or second capstan, respectively for selectively driving the tape in one or the other direction. A transmission is provided to which the tape direction control is connected for driving the tape winding reels under the control of the tape direction control means. The transmission has idlers for transmitting the rotary motion of the motors and is selectively engageable with one of the two winding reels and one of the two motors or with the other of the two winding reels and the other of the two motors, depending on the direction in which the tape is to be transported.

    摘要: A photographic apparatus for producing a visible image on a photosensitivenit including a photosensitive film mounted on a film mount. The apparatus includes: a first member having a supplying station, an exposure station, a developing station and a fixing station provided on a principal surface thereof; two transfer means, one for transferring the unit from the supplying station to the exposure station and or for transferring the unit from the exposure station to the developing station, and from the developing station to the fixing station; and driving means for driving the two transfer means. A latent image of an original is formed on the film at the exposure station, the latent image is developed at the developing station, and the developed image is fixed at the fixing station. The feature of this apparatus is that the function of holding the unit and guiding it to each of said stations is achieved by the first member, and independently the function of transferring the unit is achieved by the two transfer means, whereby the transfer of the unit from one station to another can be carried out securely without fail, and the mechanism of the apparatus can be simplified.

An opposed core (233) is so formed that a small diameter opposed core (2332) is fixedly inserted onto the center part of a core shaft (2331) and large diameter opposed cores (2333) are fixedly inserted onto both end parts of the core shaft (2331) so that the cross sectional area thereof at both ends in the lateral direction (both ends in the longitudinal direction) is larger than the cross sectional area thereof at the center part in the lateral direction. A fixing belt (210) is formed of a non-magnetic material and disposed between a core (232) and the opposed core (233). Thus, since a magnetic flux between the core (232) and the opposed core (233) is not almost varied and the fixing belt (210) allows the magnetic flux to pass therethrough and does not affect the flux, even if the fixing belt (210) is rotated and a distance between the core (232) and the fixing belt (210) is varied, the temperature of the fixing belt (210) can be uniformly and stably maintained.

    摘要: There is provided a fixing apparatus capable of reducing the warm-up time, improving the heating efficiency, and suppressing the temperature increase out of the sheet width by using a magnetic adjuster. In this apparatus, the Currie temperature Tc of the magnetic adjuster material heated by electromagnetic induction is set to 220 degrees C. or below and the fixation setting temperature of a heating member corresponding to the portion where a recording material passes during continuous sheet feed is set lower than a value than the temperature at which the relative magnetic permeability of the magnetic adjuster material begins to decrease. Thus, it is possible to obtain a large difference between the heating portion and the non-heating portion, to surely prevent excessive temperature increase of the portion out of the recording material width, to reduce the warm-up time, and improve the heating efficiency.

The heat-producing sleeve (210) is composed of a nonmagnetic metallic material of thickness in the range from 10 μm to 500 μm and specific resistance of 80×10−6 Ωcm or less.

    摘要: A heating roller (21) includes a heat generating layer (22) that generates heat by electromagnetic induction, a heat insulating layer (23), and a supporting layer (24), which are provided inwardly in this order. The supporting layer (24) is formed of a material having a specific resistance of 1×10−5 Ωm or higher. Therefore, even when the heat generating layer (22) has a thickness smaller than a skin depth, i.e. a thickness defined by a flow of an induction current, so that magnetic flux penetrates the heat generating layer (22) and even reaches the supporting layer (24), heat generation of the supporting layer (24) under an eddy current can be suppressed. Thus, the heat generating layer (22) can be decreased in thermal capacity, and heat generation of the supporting layer (24) is suppressed, so that only the heat generating layer (22) can be heated efficiently. As a result, a warm-up time can be reduced. Further, breakage by heat of, for example, bearings supporting the heating roller (21) can be prevented.
