With a large number, i.e., hundreds, of stages arranged in parallel sub-arrays, the clocking conductor is snaked alongside the sub-arrays. In individual stages it is arranged that the shortest of the two calculations taking place in a stage, takes place in the return path.     摘要: A data processor and a method for processing data is disclosed. The processor has an input port for receiving packets of data to be processed. A master controller acts to analyse the packets and to provide a header including a list of processes to perform on the packet of data and an ordering thereof. The master controller is programmed with process related data relating to the overall processing function of the processor. The header is appended to the packet of data. The packet with the appended header information is stored within a buffer. A buffer controller acts to determine for each packet stored within the buffer based on the header within the packet a next processor to process the packet. The controller then provides the packet to the determined processor for processing. The processed packet is returned with some indication that the processing is done. For example, the process may be deleted from the list of processes. The buffer controller repeatedly makes a determination of a next process until there is no next process for a packet at which time it is provided to an output port.

    摘要: A sports racquet has a lightweight frame and a pair of pods, having an increased cross-sectional width, at the 11 o'clock and 1 o'clock positions of the head. The pods also preferably have an increased wall thickness, or a molded-in weight element, so as to provide increased weight at such regions,. Preferably also, the handle has at least one weight pod at the butt portion. The three pod weighting system, i.e., having weight pods located at the 11 o'clock, 1 o'clock, and butt end positions, not only increases the polar moment of inertia of the racquet about its longitudinal axis, but also increases the moment of inertia of the racquet about the center of gravity, providing a very stable racquet. Also, because the pods in the head portion increase the width of the frame, the torsion of the frame near the tip region is greatly increased, improving the power of the racquet with respect to balls hit further out on the string bed. In a preferred embodiment, the weight pods are formed of metal coated carbon fibers.

    摘要: Methods and apparatus provide a delayed clock signal to a plurality of serially connected processing elements, such as a bidirectional pipeline processor. The processing elements include forward and reverse processing paths and forward and reverse processing time intervals along the respective paths. The forward and reverse processing time intervals begin when a block of data, such as encryption data, is gated into an individual processing element for processing and terminate when the processed block of data is gated into a subsequent adjacent processing element along the respective forward or reverse processing path. A clock signal distribution circuit provides a clock signal to the plurality of processing elements such that the clock signal arrives at successive processing elements along the clock signal distribution circuit with an increasing amount of delay so that one of the forward or reverse processing time intervals is greater than the other.
