    摘要: A recording apparatus includes guide rails that each control the posture of a carriage at an arbitrary recording position by being in contact with the carriage. The guide rails are disposed on respective sides of a guide shaft in a direction in which a recording medium is conveyed. The length of a gap between the recording medium and the carriage is selectable between a case where the carriage is in contact with one of the guide rails and a case where the carriage is in contact with the other guide rail. Such a configuration provides a compact and low-cost recording apparatus capable of performing recording on recording media having various thicknesses by appropriately adjusting the gap between the carriage and any of the recording medium while maintaining the parallelism therebetween.

    摘要: A tire support ring for pneumatic tires in the event of loss of inflation pressure is disclosed. The support ring comprises an annular main body and a plurality of noise dampers. The main body made is made of an elastic material and provided on both sides thereof with a plurality of holes each having a pair of opposite radially-extending side surfaces. The noise damper is made of a spongy material and inserted into the hole such that gaps of from 2.0 to 10.0 mm are formed between the side surfaces and the damper. The hole has a closed end, and in the hole, a hollow space is remained behind the inserted noise damper.
