摘要: Four straight tube type Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamps are placed such that the distance from the two inner Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamps to a reflection surface of a reflector plate is shorter than the distance from the two outer Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamps to the reflection surface of the reflector plate, whereby it becomes possible to make the distance from the two inner Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamps to a liquid crystal panel longer than the distance from the two outer Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamps to the liquid crystal panel. Generally, unevenness in brightness on the display screen is caused by higher brightness in the vicinity of each of the Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamps. Accordingly, by making longer the distance from the two inner Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamps to the liquid crystal panel, it becomes possible to prevent unevenness in brightness at a central portion of the display screen, which is more likely to be noticed by users, thereby improving the image quality of the liquid crystal display device.

摘要: A work-flow system that manages a progression status without wasted effort even when the work comprises a plurality of jobs. A definition-information-memory unit that stores work-flow-definition information in which the job types and an order of processing are correlated beforehand, and a request-receiving unit receives jobs comprising mutually related tasks as one work project. Persons in charge and the order of processing are set for the received work by a person-in-charge-setting unit based on the work-flow-definition information. Also, when a task of a job is processed by a person in charge, a judgment unit determines whether or not other tasks of other jobs that are related to the task being processed have already been processed, and when it is determined that all of the other related tasks have been processed, a processing-approval unit approves processing the next tasks of that work.

摘要: A vehicle mounted adaptor is arranged to be coupled to a portable transceiver when the portable transceiver is used within the passenger compartment of the vehicle. The portable transceiver includes a main battery, a backup battery and a power switch circuit. The power switch circuit is supplied with power from either one of said main and backup batteries and generates a control signal when turned on for operating the portable transceiver. The adaptor includes a power switch which is coupled to a car battery mounted on the vehicle. The power switch of the adaptor is switched over from OFF position to ON position when the control signal is generated and switched over from the ON position to the OFF position when the control signal is terminated. The adaptor further includes a backup battery charger which is coupled to the power switch. The backup battery charger serves to charge the backup battery when said first means is in the OFF position. Therefore, the backup battery charger is able to charge the backup memory even if the portable transceiver fails to generate the control signal due to a poor condition of both the main and backup batteries.

摘要: An earth electrode is formed on a first major surface of a piezoelectric substrate, so as to be opposed to both of first and second excitation electrodes which are formed on a second major surface of the piezoelectric substrate. An earth terminal electrode, which is connected to the earth electrode is prevented from overlapping with a lead line which connects the first excitation electrode with a terminal electrode. An electric insulating film is formed in a position opposed to the lead line. Accordingly, if a conductive adhesive, which is employed for connecting the earth terminal electrode to another electrode, spreads beyond the earth terminal electrode, the lead line is not overlapped with the earth terminal electrode or the conductive adhesive through the piezoelectric substrate. In consequence, it is possible to prevent undesirable vibration of piezoelectric substrate in portions other than between the excitation electrodes and the earth electrode. Thus, it is possible to improve a demodulation distortion factor characteristic in a discriminator, for example.

摘要: A field emission cathode capable of permitting a voltage required for starting emission of electrons from the emitters to be decreased and the emission to be rendered uniform. The field emission cathode includes cathode electrodes formed on a substrate. On each of the cathode electrodes are arranged a plurality of emitters through diodes each acting as a constant-current element, and gate electrodes are arranged above the emitters. Arrangement of the diodes between the emitters and the cathode electrode permits a drive voltage to be reduced as compared with arrangement of a resistive layer therebetween, because a diode is generally decreased in voltage drop as compared with the resistive layer. Also, the arrangement renders emission of electrons from each of the emitters uniform.

摘要: The present invention obtains instant noodles which do not cause sticking and are easily loosened. Especially, the present invention provides an instant noodles producing method capable of preventing the sticking of the noodle strings even when the noodle strings are straight-type noodles. In a production process of the instant noodles, powdered oil is applied to the surface of a dough sheet or the surfaces of the noodle strings before steaming. Especially, after the powdered oil is applied to the dough sheet, the dough sheet is rolled out once or more. With this, the powdered oil is firmly fixed to the surfaces of the noodle strings. Thus, an extremely high sticking preventing effect can be obtained by an extremely small amount of the powdered oil.
