摘要:
A piezo-electric crystal vibrating in several modes controls several frequencies generated by voltage controlled oscillators simultaneously. The output of each voltage controlled oscillator is fed to a summing amplifier which drives the crystal. The output of the crystal is fed to individual phase detectors; each phase detector is also supplied with the output of a voltage controlled oscillator and generates a voltage proportional to the phase difference between the voltage controlled oscillator and the crystal output for correcting the output frequency of each oscillator.

An acoustic surface wave device is disclosed which comprises a crystal of Tl.sub.3 TaS.sub.4, Tl.sub.3 TaSe.sub.4, or mixtures thereof having at least one surface suitable for the propagation of surface waves, a surface wave generating transducer mounted on the surface, and a surface wave receiving transducer mounted on the surface positioned to receive a surface wave generated by the surface wave generating transducer. The device transmits surface waves at a low velocity and high coupling efficiency and can be used in a delay line, a filter, an FM discriminator, an oscillator, or other device.
摘要:
A phase detector using crystal filters in two signal paths subject to signal phase detection with a single piezoelectric material unit common to and interconnecting the crystal filters of the two signal paths. A signal combining electrode also on the single piezoelectric material unit is connected to a following amplitude detection circuit section.

The present invention relates to frequency discriminators. The frequency discriminator in accordance with the invention comprises a pair of surface wave electromechanical filters deposited upon a single substrate; the spectral responses of the filters are offset in frequency and have a triangular profile so that by subtraction of the detected voltages at the output of these filters, an S characteristic is obtained.

The invention relates to surface wave discriminator systems comprising a substrate on the surface of which are arranged two electromechanical filters each incorporating two delay lines of dissimilar delay length. The amplitudes of the alternating voltages transmitted by said filters obey laws of variation as a function of the modulating quantity which take the form of sinusoidal half waves, offset by a quarter of a period, making it possible after differential detection to obtain a frequency or phase discrimination characteristic.
