    摘要: To shorten a required estimation time while keeping an estimation precision in an object environment given for estimating propagation characteristics with a ray launching method. In the case where a ray is propagated within a given observation area, and collides with a barrier residing on its path, a space in the vicinity of the ray is divided into a plurality of partial spaces until a predetermined condition is satisfied. The space in the vicinity of the ray that is considered to cause a degradation in the estimation precision is divided in reflection until there is less influence of degradation, whereby each of the subdivided partial spaces can be handled individually, so that the estimation precision of radio wave propagation characteristics can be made better than a conventional method. On the other hand, in the case where there is possibly less influence of degradation in the estimation precision, the space is not divided, whereby if a ray is radiated from a transmitting antenna coarsely, the total number of rays is reduced below that of the conventional method, so that a total calculation time taken for a propagation estimation can be shortened.

    摘要: The present invention, a silicon-on-insulator (SOI) substrate and its fabrication method, is suited to the wafer-bonding method. A pre-oxidation treatment accompanying the oxidation treatment and the adhesive thermal treatment to prevent metal impurities from polluting semiconductor wafers. Before an oxide layer is thermally grown on one wafer or after two bonded wafers are subjected to a adhesive thermal treatment at a temperature T1, the pre-oxidation treatment is performed at a temperature of T2, which satisfies the relation equation of T1-300.ltoreq.T2.ltoreq.T1-100 (.degree.C.). Water steam, pure oxygen, or diluted oxygen, is conducted into the furnace, in which the pre-oxidation treatment is performed in an oxidation ambient. Accordingly, an oxide film having a predetermined thickness is formed on the surface of the SOI substrate serving as a barrier for preventing metal impurities, such as Fe, Cr, or the like, from invading the substrate and degrading the electrical characteristics thereof.

    摘要: A band charging apparatus for a packing machine capable of carrying out charging of a band while effectively preventing jamming of the band. In the packing machine, a band unwound from a reel is fed to a pool box by means of the band charging apparatus, to thereby be temporarily stored in the pool box. Then, the band is fed to a circumference of a package by means of a band feeding and tightening apparatus. Thereafter, the band is drawn back by means of the band feeding and tightening apparatus while a distal end of the band is kept gripped, resulting in being tightly wound on the package. The band charging apparatus includes a pool feed roller for carrying out feeding of the band to the pool box and a pool touch roller arranged so as to access to the pool feed roller through the band. Also, the band charging apparatus includes guide plates for defining a band guide path in the pool box when the band is set for charging of the band in the band feeding and tightening apparatus. The guide plates are pivotally moved in a direction of guiding the band, to thereby close the guide plates. When the band is excessively fed to the band guide path, nerve of the band in the band guide path causes the guide plates to be open, to thereby release the band guide path, resulting in the band being stored in the pool box.

    摘要: An optical accessory includes a bayonet mount attachable to a camera body side mount and accessory side connection terminals which contact the camera body side connecting terminals when the accessory side bayonet mount is attached to the camera body side bayonet mount. The accessory side connecting terminals have their end portions arranged to project in the direction of the optical axis behind the accessory side bayonet mount. In one preferred embodiment, the optical accessory further includes a member having a projection projecting in the direction of the optical axis behind the accessory side connecting terminals. The projection is positioned on the inner circumference side of the accessory side connecting terminals and is arranged near to the accessory side connection terminals. In another preferred embodiment, the end portions of the connecting terminals have plural height differences, and a contact seat also is provided for holding the accessory side connecting terminals. The contact seat has its rear side surface in the direction of the optical axis located at substantially the same height as the accessory side connecting terminals. The contact seat is fixed by a fastener in a radial direction relative to an inner circumference surface of the accessory side bayonet mount.
