摘要： In an image recording/reproduction method for recording image information on a recording medium by using a computer, a verify mode is set into the OFF state when recording image information on said recording medium. In addition, use as a write or read region a specified region of the recording medium which is greater than or equal to a unitary data size being handled during error correction processing to be performed when writing or reading image information on or out of said recording medium. Additionally, upon reading of image information from the recording medium, any image information that has experienced read errors will never be read again.

摘要： An intruding object detecting method and an intruding object monitoring apparatus for detecting a target object intruding into an image pickup region while reducing the error detection of moving objects other than the target object. A difference in pixel value between an input image signal and each of different image signals in a predetermined number of frames greater than one is calculated for each pixel to thereby obtain differential images in the predetermined number of frames. The differential images in the predetermined number of frames are synthesized in predetermined proportions to thereby generate a synthesized differential image. The synthesized differential image is binarized on the basis of a predetermined threshold value to thereby generate a binarized image. A binarized object in the binarized image is detected as an object intruding into a monitoring visual field.

摘要： An image information displaying method and apparatus for the edition of a motion picture are disclosed in which representative image representing a series of frame images forming the motion picture are displayed on a screen of a display device and a hierarchical structure based on a plurality of representative images is generated on the screen through an operation using a GUI to perform the edition of the motion picture. A plurality of frame images included in the representative image are subjected to an image detection processing for detecting frame images having a predetermined image recorded thereon. Information indicating the detected frame image having the predetermined image recorded thereon is displayed as a detection result displaying window on the screen. Information concerning frame images having not been subjected to the image detection processing is displayed on the detection result displaying window.

Further, a predetermined reproduction rate of the motion image is set when the knob is within the predetermined range, whereas, when the knob is moved out of the predetermined range with use of a mouse, the reproduction rate is set at a desired reproduction rate corresponding to a displacement of the knob from the predetermined range.
