摘要: The invention provides a software development support system capable of reflecting the content added by a person to source code in source code generated again, without modifying design information. A generator 41 generates source code in which plural insertion markers are inserted on the basis of design information. An extracting portion 43 extracts code (inserted code) contained in a range specified by each insertion marker in source code. Each extracted inserted code is associated with its identification information and stored into a saving portion 32. When the generator 41 generates source code, a combining portion 44 performs a process of combining inserted code with the relevant source code and outputs the processed source code, wherein the relevant inserted code is included in plural pieces of inserted code stored in the saving portion 32, source code identified by the identification information for the relevant inserted code coincides with the relevant source code and an insertion marker identified by this identification information exists in the relevant source code and coincides with the relevant insertion marker.

摘要: There are provided a method of processing an amorphous material which is capable of forming surface projections of uniform height in desired positions on the amorphous material, and a magnetic disk substrate using the amorphous material. A predetermined pressure is applied to parts of a surface of an amorphous material to form high-density compressed layers, and a surface layer of the amorphous material is removed using a treatment agent that has a different removal capacity in the compressed layers and a remaining uncompressed layer, thus making the compressed layers project out. For example, the treatment agent may be an etching solution having a different etching rate in the compressed layers and the uncompressed layer.

摘要: There are provided a glass substrate for information recording media in which the undulations on the glass substrate surface are optimized, thus contributing to reduction of the flying height, and at the same time preventing the occurrence of head crashes and thermal asperity, and a method of manufacturing the glass substrate. At least one surface of a glass substrate is polished, and the polished at least one surface of the glass substrate is subjected to surface scrubbing using a sponge having an Asker C hardness of not less than 40 according to The Society of Rubber Industry, Japan SRIS 0101.

摘要: After a polishing process of polishing a glass substrate with an abrasive containing lanthanoid oxides, the glass substrate is subjected to the first and second washing processes. In the first washing process, the polished substrate is washed with a washing solution containing acid and a reducing agent, wherein the acid includes at least nitric acid. In the second washing process, the washed substrate is treated with an aqueous solution of an alkaline detergent. The substrate is suitable for a recording medium.

摘要: A controller to smoothly change speed of a machining tool to improve machining accuracy and speed of a machine. The controller includes a command analyzing section included in a block structure of software that analyzes a command program and converts it to data appropriate for use in a primary interpolation section. The primary interpolation section performs interpolation calculation in each first sampling period to obtain an interpolation point on a commanded path, and outputs the obtained interpolation point to an intermediate memory. The intermediate memory stores a motion amount for each axis, a feed rate and a block length. An acceleration/deceleration control section performs acceleration/deceleration control based on the data stored in the intermediate memory, and calculates speed in each second sampling period which is shorter than the first sampling period, to output the calculated speed to a secondary interpolation section. The secondary interpolation section defines a smooth curve expressed, for example, by a polynomial based on output from the acceleration/deceleration control section and the data in the intermediate memory, to output an interpolation point on the smooth curve in each second sampling period.

摘要: A traction control apparatus for vehicles according to the present invention has a slip state detector for detecting a slip state of a wheel, a parameter determining device for determining a control parameter for generating braking force according to the slip state detected, a control permitting device for permitting traction control, a parameter changer for changing the control parameter so as to decrease the braking force when the control parameter is one to generate the braking force at the wheel over permissible braking force at the start of control, and a traction control for executing the traction control, based on the control parameter. Thus the apparatus can restrain uncomfortableness during the traction control and can prevent large input from entering the power train.
