    摘要: A partial bit demodulation section demodulates partial bits among a plurality of bits that form one symbol of each modulated signal using a detection method different from likelihood detection. Signal point reduction sections reduce the number of candidate signal points using demodulated partial bits. A likelihood detection section obtains received digital signals by performing likelihood detection based on the Euclidian distances between the reduced candidate signal points and a reception point. Only some bits which are unlikely to be erroneous are found by the partial bit demodulation section, and other bits can be found by the likelihood detection section, enabling bit error rate performances to be effectively improved with a comparatively small computational complexity.

    摘要: A transmitter apparatus wherein a simple structure is used to successfully suppress the degradation of error rate performance that otherwise would be caused by fading or the like. There are included encoding parts (11—1-11—4) that encode transport data; a mapping part (3304) that performs such a mapping that encoded data sequentially formed by the encoding parts (11—1-11—4) are not successively included in the same symbol, thereby forming data symbols; and a symbol interleaver (3301) that interleaves the data symbols. In this way, a low computational complexity can be used to perform an interleaving process equivalent to a bit interleaving process to effectively improve the reception quality at a receiving end.

    摘要: Provided is a multi-antenna transmission device (400) which can perform MLD by using a simple configuration of a reception device in a MIMO-AMC system. The multi-antenna transmission device (400) includes common signal point mapping units (401, 402) for mapping data transmitted from different antennas (111, 112) in transmission scheme using MIMO spatial multiplexing, to common signal points shared by respective modulation methods. Thus, the arrangement of baseband signal points obtained by mapping a code word after channel encoding onto an IQ plane can be shared as common signal points shared by modulation methods. Accordingly, the reception device need not prepare a particular circuit for performing MLD calculation in accordance with a combination of the methods for modulating the signals which have been MIMO-space multiplexed. This can reduce the circuit size of the MLD calculation circuit.

    摘要: In a digital communication system such as a mobile radio system, fading distortion is compensated with a raised precision. In a transmitter, pilot signals are regularly inserted in the information signals. The amplitude of the pilot signals are set larger than the maximum possible amplitude of the information signals. The modulation scheme of the pilot signals may be different from that of the information signals. In a receiver, the fading distortion of each of the pilot signals is determined. The fading distortions of the information signals are estimated by interpolation using the determined fading distortion of the pilot signal, and then compensated. The frequency band of each information signal is preferably limited with a roll-off filter with a roll-off coefficient ranging from 0.1 to 0.4.

A third modulator modulates symbols other than the pilot symbol and the specific symbols according to a third modulation scheme, the third modulation scheme being different than the first and second modulation schemes. A timing controller controls timing such that the specific symbols are inserted immediately before and after the pilot symbol. The signal points of the specific symbols are allocated on an imaginary line that connects the origin point and a signal point of the pilot symbol on a signal space diagram.

    摘要: An objective lens drive is provided which is capable of reducing a primary resonance frequency in the tracking direction while suppressing lowering of a buckling resonance frequency in the focus direction. In this objective lens drive: an objective lens secured to an objective lens holder is displaced relatively to a securing member in the focus direction and tracking direction through bending deformation of resilient supporting members; each resilient supporting member is provided with a trapezoidal portion in which the width in the tracking direction becomes narrower toward the end of the resilient supporting member; and the trapezoidal portion has a length of 27-50% of the effective length of the resilient deformation portion.
