Abstract: Systems, devices, and techniques are described for performing paging in a wireless communication network. A method includes mapping a paging indication to one or more resource elements. The one or more resource elements are resources in one or more synchronization signal symbols that are not mapped by the synchronization signal. The method includes transmitting the paging indication to trigger a response from a user equipment for performing subsequent paging.

Abstract: The present document discloses a Device-to-Device (D2D) resource configuration information processing method, apparatus and system, herein the method includes: when a source network device determines that a first terminal allowed to perform a D2D operation performs a handover operation, the source network device selecting a handover destination Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) of the first terminal; and when the handover destination PLMN is the same as any one of PLMNs in an allowed D2D PLMN list, the source network device sending D2D resource configuration information corresponding to the first terminal to a destination network device.

A User Equipment (UE) receives configuration information for a Device to Device (D2D) resource acquisition failure, the configuration information for the D2D resource acquisition failure being used for a D2D UE with a drive test capability to collect information on the D2D resource acquisition failure in case of the D2D resource acquisition failure, and send the information on the D2D resource acquisition failure.
