Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a method for channel detection, a sending terminal and a system comprising the sending terminal and a receiving terminal. The method for channel detection, including: when an Access Point (AP) allows an associated Station (STA) associated with it to use a dynamic channel detection threshold, sending, by the AP, one or more pieces of detection information used by the associated STA and a set of dynamic threshold parameters corresponding to the one or more pieces of detection information.
Abstract:
In a wireless network, full duplex communication is established using a half-duplex mechanism. During a full duplex communication opportunity, a first quantum of data is transmitted from a first station to a second station and a second quantum of data is received by the first station from the second station. The full duplex transmission opportunity is implicitly or explicitly established and ended using a transmission mechanism understood by half duplex wireless stations.
Abstract:
Provided are methods and devices for transmitting a frame in a network. The method includes: setting, by a sending station, a media access control (MAC) frame header of a MAC frame, wherein the MAC frame header includes at least one bit for indicating whether the MAC frame header adopts an optimized MAC header format, the optimized MAC frame header format referring to a MAC frame format in which only necessary frame header information is reserved (S302); sending, by the sending station, the MAC frame to a receiving station (S304). The present disclosure not only ensures correct sending and receiving of a frame, but also effectively reduces the overhead of the frame header.
Abstract:
Multiple wireless devices in a network perform full duplex communication in which the transmission path and receiving path are spatially separated to allow simultaneous transmission and receiving. The wireless devices can either be controlled using a centralized, or point, coordination function or a distributed coordination function. A full-duplex wireless device senses the medium during transmission by itself and selectively continues the transmission when a signal is sensed on the medium. A full-duplex wireless device measures signal being transmitted by its transmitter and estimates parameters that can be used to cancel the contribution of the locally transmitted signal to the locally received signal concurrently being received during the transmission. The transmit antenna and the receive antenna of a full-duplex wireless device can be configured to be spatially isolated from each other to minimize interference between the antenna functions.
Abstract:
A transmitting wireless device provides channel access information to a receiving wireless device for the receiving wireless device to make a determination of when to transmit and what transmissions parameters to use for the transmission. The channel access information may be used differently by wireless devices operating in a basic service set and an overlapping basic service set. Channel access information may include fields indicative of transmission power used, signal to noise ratio headroom available, and so on. Channel access information may be generated and transmitted at the PHY layer of an implementation, thus providing a fast delivery to the receiving wireless device.
Abstract:
The present document provides a method for avoiding downlink data collision, an Access Point (AP) and a Station (STA). The method for avoiding downlink data collision includes: an AP receiving a radio frame for inquiring whether the AP has a Bufferable Unit (BU) of an STA transmitted by the STA; and after determining that there is a BU of the STA and the BU is larger than a predetermined threshold, the AP exchanging radio frames with the STA to reserve a channel, and transmitting the BU to the STA after succeeding in reserving the channel. The method can guarantee the fairness among various STAs and the reasonable utilization of channel resources, thus avoiding the collision; furthermore, the channel reservation frame transmitted by the AP can reserve a longer period of time, i.e. a plurality of BUs can be transmitted to the STA at a time, thus saving the link overhead.
Abstract:
A systems and methods for multi-node communication between wireless communication nodes and a single wireless communication device are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, the systems and methods are configured to receive, by a second wireless communication node from a first wireless communication node, a notification frame. The systems and methods can be further configured to perform joint transmission, by the second wireless communication node to a wireless communication device according to the notification frame received from the first wireless communication node. The systems and methods can also be configured to suspend, by the second wireless communication node, contention parameters of the second wireless communication node at the beginning of the transmission to the wireless communication device.
Abstract:
Provided are a transmission method and device, and a computer-readable storage medium. The transmission method includes: sending, by a first communication node, a notification frame, where the notification frame is used for instructing at least one second communication node to send a first physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU); and receiving, by the first communication node, the first PPDU sent by the at least one second communication node.
Abstract:
Systems, devices, and techniques are described for communication node scanning and association in a wireless communication network. An illustrative method includes receiving, via a first channel, identifying information that identify a plurality of communication nodes that are configured to communicate via at least a second channel. The illustrative method further includes initiating communication, via at least the second channel, with a communication node based, at least in part, on the identifying information.
Abstract:
A data transmission method and apparatus, and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium are disclosed. The data transmission method may include: sending, by a first communication node, a radio frame comprising indication information to a second communication node, wherein the second communication node is associated with a third communication node, the third communication node and the first communication node perform joint transmission, and the indication information is configured to instruct a fourth communication node other than the second communication node, after receiving the radio frame, to determine whether to compete for channel access according to the indication information.
