    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices relate to digital wireless communication, and more specifically, to techniques relate to dynamic change MAC address of the station for subsequent transmissions. In one exemplary aspect, a method of dynamic change MAC address includes specifying a MAC address change mode and a new MAC address to be used by the station. In another exemplary aspect, a method of dual MAC address change mode in the dynamic change MAC address mechanism includes separating the unchanged MAC address of the station from the changeable MAC address of the station, and keep the mapping between them. In another exemplary aspect, a method includes transmitting a MAC address change request message from the station (or the access point) to initiate the MAC address change procedure. In another exemplary aspect, a method includes receiving a MAC address change response message from the access point (or the station).

With the active-standby mode application instance implementation with support of L2 networks, the application mobility could achieve the service continuity with low latency switching time. An application mobility mechanism can be implemented in the data plane of edge computing host under the control of edge computing platform and management. It can be also implemented in L2 switching function of the User Plane Function in 5G networks.

    Abstract: A power saving station integrates a low power consumption wake-up receiver with wideband wireless of main radio. The low power wake-up receiver of power saving station receives a wake-up request signal sent from the wireless network and wakes up the main radio of the station to communicate with the wireless network over wideband frequency channel. The wake-up request signal is transmitted over a narrow band frequency channel and can be addressed to a single station or multiple of stations via OFDMA in wideband channel.

    Abstract: Multiple wireless devices in a network perform full duplex communication in which the transmission path and receiving path are spatially separated to allow simultaneous transmission and receiving. The wireless devices can either be controlled using a centralized, or point, coordination function or a distributed coordination function. A full-duplex wireless device senses the medium during transmission by itself and selectively continues the transmission when a signal is sensed on the medium. A full-duplex wireless device measures signal being transmitted by its transmitter and estimates parameters that can be used to cancel the contribution of the locally transmitted signal to the locally received signal concurrently being received during the transmission. The transmit antenna and the receive antenna of a full-duplex wireless device can be configured to be spatially isolated from each other to minimize interference between the antenna functions.

    Abstract: Disclosed are methods, devices and systems for detecting data traffic path change of UE when it is being served by an Internet application instance running on a mobile edge host, and moves to the coverage area of another mobile edge host in mobile edge computing system. One exemplary method includes receiving an application resource request for a cloud-computing services from a user equipment (UE), and allocating resources at a mobile edge computing platform to the application resource request in lieu of a server of the cloud-computing services that is reachable via an internet connection. Examples of the disclosed technology may rely on packet header information in downlink or uplink traffic received by mobile edge host, and may be a detection method independent of the signaling notification in the underlying bearer network.
