    摘要: A container or vial (1) for a fluid, the container (1) comprising a casing defining an interior for storage of the fluid and a closure member (2). The closure member (2) comprises a body and at least one resilient projection (7) to seal in a storage condition an outlet of the casing, wherein upon an increase in the pressure of the interior of the container (1) the at least one resilient projection (7) is deflected to accommodate outflow of fluid through the outlet. The pressure in the interior of the container (1) may be increased by displacing the closure member (2) into the container (1) or by displacing some other element such as a bung (61, 82) into the container (1). The container (1) and closure member (2) may be used in a dispenser (90) and the closure element may be used in a valve (110).

    摘要: A medicament delivery device comprises a housing and a syringe axially movable in the housing and the syringe having a barrel. The device further comprises a stopper axially movable in the barrel and which separates a first chamber and second chamber from one another. The stopper is axially movable in the barrel in response to a vapour pressure being received in the second chamber. The device also includes a biasing mechanism to axially move the syringe in the housing between a first syringe position and a second syringe position in response to a first reduction in the vapour pressure in the second chamber. In the first syringe position venting of the propellant from the second chamber through a first fluid pathway is permitted to enable the first reduction in the vapour pressure in the second chamber while venting of the propellant from the second chamber through a second fluid pathway is substantially prevented. In the second syringe position venting of the propellant from the second chamber through the second fluid pathway is permitted to enable a second reduction in the vapour pressure in the second chamber.

    摘要: A syringe assembly comprising a barrel for containing one or more medicaments, the barrel having a front outlet for allowing the expulsion of said one or more medicaments from the said barrel through said outlet, and a first stopper disposed in the barrel and axially moveable therein and defining a first volume in the barrel axially forwards of the first stopper and a second volume in the barrel axially rearwards of the first stopper. The first stopper has a two way valve that is moveable between a sealing configuration and an open configuration to selectively put the first volume in fluid communication with the second volume. The two way valve is moveable from the sealing configuration to the open configuration by an increase in fluid pressure in either of the first and second volumes. The syringe assembly additionally comprises a second stopper disposed in the barrel axially rearward of the first stopper and axially moveable therein, the second stopper providing a fluid tight seal at a rear end of the second volume. The syringe assembly further comprises a first plunger rod connected to the first stopper and extending axially rearwardly through the second stopper, the second stopper sealingly engaging with the first plunger rod but permitting axial sliding of the first plunger rod therethrough. The first plunger rod is axially moveable so as to axially move the first stopper and pressurise either of the first volume and second volume causing the two way valve to move into the open configuration and fluidly connect the first volume and second volume.

    摘要: Fluid delivery device for discharging a fluid, having: a housing; piston pump; biasing mechanism; and trigger mechanism. The housing has a basal end and a discharge end with outlet for discharging the fluid. The piston pump has a casing defining a pump chamber for storage of fluid, a piston slidably movable relative to the pump chamber, a piston plunger, and a delivery channel. The trigger mechanism is movable from a cocked configuration wherein the trigger mechanism prevents transfer of a biasing force of the biasing mechanism to the casing to a triggered configuration with the trigger mechanism enabling transfer of the biasing force to the casing to cause movement of the casing towards the housing outlet to discharge fluid from the pump chamber, along the delivery channel and out of the outlet of the housing. The biasing mechanism has one or more flexible catch members and a manually operable trigger.
