    摘要: A valved container assembly comprising a container for containing a fluid, the container extending in an axial direction and having an open front end, a valve disposed in the container; and a plunger element disposed axially rearward of the valve. The plunger element is axially moveable in the container and a first volume is provided in the container between the plunger element and the valve, wherein the plunger element is configured to increase a pressure of the fluid in the first volume upon axial movement of the plunger element relative to the valve. The valve comprises a seal fluidly sealing the valve to an interior of the container along an entire perimeter of the valve, and a channel bypassing the seal, the channel having a first opening in fluid communication with an atmosphere outside of the valved container assembly and a second opening selectively sealed from the first volume by a resilient seal. The resilient seal is moveable between a sealing configuration and an open configuration to selectively seal the channel from the first volume, wherein in the sealing configuration the resilient seal fluidly seals against the container to fluidly seal the valve to the container so as to fluidly isolate the channel from the first volume, and in the open configuration the resilient seal does not fluidly seal against the container to fluidly seal the valve to the container so that the second opening of the channel is in fluid communication with the first volume. The resilient seal is moveable from the sealing configuration to the open configuration upon the pressure of the fluid in the first volume exceeding a first pressure threshold.

The valved container assembly (10) further comprising a valve (14) disposed in the container (12) and a plunger element (20) disposed axially rearward of the valve (14), the plunger element (20) being axially moveable in the container (12) and defining a first volume (22) in the container (12) between the plunger element (20) and the valve (14), where the plunger element (20) is configured to increase the pressure of a fluid in the first volume (22) upon axial movement relative to the valve (14). The valve (14) comprises a permanent seal (16) forming a fluidic seal between the at least one venting opening (12a) and the first volume (22), and a resilient seal (18) that is axially rearward of said permanent seal (16) and is moveable between a sealing configuration and an open configuration. In the sealing configuration the resilient seal (18) forms a fluidic seal with the container (12) between the at least one dispensing opening (12b) and the first volume (22). In at least one axial position of the valve (14) in the container (12) when the resilient seal (18) is in the open configuration the first volume (22) is fluidly connected to the at least one dispensing opening (12b). The resilient seal (18) is moveable from the sealing configuration to the open configuration upon fluid pressure in the first volume (22) exceeding a predetermined pressure threshold.

The priming indicator is initially arranged to at least partially overly the indicator member to thereby at least partially obscure viewing of the dose indicia of the indicator member until the one or more priming actuations of the container have been completed. The priming indicator is movable after the one or more priming actuations have been completed into a disposition where it no longer obscures viewing of the dose indicia of the indicator member. The invention also provides a dispensing apparatus comprising the dose counter.

    摘要: A syringe assembly comprising a barrel for containing one or more medicaments, the barrel having a front outlet for allowing the expulsion of said one or more medicaments from the said barrel through said outlet, and a first stopper disposed in the barrel and axially moveable therein and defining a first volume in the barrel axially forwards of the first stopper and a second volume in the barrel axially rearwards of the first stopper. The first stopper has a two way valve that is moveable between a sealing configuration and an open configuration to selectively put the first volume in fluid communication with the second volume. The two way valve is moveable from the sealing configuration to the open configuration by an increase in fluid pressure in either of the first and second volumes. The syringe assembly additionally comprises a second stopper disposed in the barrel axially rearward of the first stopper and axially moveable therein, the second stopper providing a fluid tight seal at a rear end of the second volume. The syringe assembly further comprises a first plunger rod connected to the first stopper and extending axially rearwardly through the second stopper, the second stopper sealingly engaging with the first plunger rod but permitting axial sliding of the first plunger rod therethrough. The first plunger rod is axially moveable so as to axially move the first stopper and pressurise either of the first volume and second volume causing the two way valve to move into the open configuration and fluidly connect the first volume and second volume.

The first stopper is connected to the second stopper by a tensile member such that axially forwardly movement of the first stopper causes axially forwardly movement of the second stopper due to tensioning of the tensile member. The first stopper is driveable in an axially forwardly direction, the first chamber is configured to contain medicament for delivery through the delivery outlet as the first stopper moves axially forwards, the third chamber contains a viscous fluid that enters the venting chamber via the vent outlet as the second stopper moves axially forwards, and the fourth chamber has a pressure that is substantially equal to or greater than the pressure of the venting chamber. As the first stopper is driven axially forwardly, the tensile member is tensioned and causes the second stopper to move axially forwardly and the venting of viscous fluid into the venting chamber via the vent outlet retards the axially forward movement of the second stopper and the first stopper.
