摘要： A structured packing element for a column for at least one of mass transfer and heat exchange between a heavy fluid phase and a light fluid phase. The structured packing element comprises at least two layers of a grid comprising openings that are surrounded and separated from each other by separating elements. At least two of the layers are arranged in a longitudinal direction parallel and in touching contact with each other such that an open space extending from one end to an opposite end of the layers is provided between the layers such that at least one of the heavy fluid phase and the light fluid phase may flow therethrough. An average width of at least 50% of the separating elements between adjacent openings is at least 15 times a layer material thickness and is between 70% and 125% of an average hydraulic diameter of the adjacent openings.

摘要： The present disclosure relates in its first aspect to a process of converting a stream comprising methane into chemicals, said process being remarkable in that it comprises the steps of providing a first stream (1, 5, 11) comprising methane, providing a second stream (79) which is a bromine-rich stream, putting into contact said first stream (15) with said second stream (79) to obtain a third stream (21) comprising at least unreacted methane, methyl bromide, dibromomethane, and hydrogen bromide and removing said dibromomethane from said third stream (21), to produce a dibromomethane stream (103) and a fourth stream (27) comprising unreacted methane, methyl bromide and hydrogen bromide; wherein the fourth stream (27) is converted into chemicals. In its second aspect, the present disclosure concerns an installation for carrying out the process of the first aspect.

The heat pump is an indirect heat pump that is operated with water or methanol as a refrigerant, and the indirect heat pump includes an expansion valve and a compressor. The heat pump comprises a second condenser located upstream of the compressor.

The drive unit includes a drive shaft to drive the pump shaft, and an electric motor configured to rotate the drive shaft about an axial direction. The coupling couples the drive shaft to the pump shaft. The pump unit conveys the fluid in a dense phase at the pump outlet, and at least two impellers of the plurality of impellers have a different specific speed.
