摘要: The present disclosure relates in its first aspect to a process of converting a stream comprising methane into chemicals, said process being remarkable in that it comprises the steps of providing a first stream (1, 5, 11) comprising methane, providing a second stream (79) which is a bromine-rich stream, putting into contact said first stream (15) with said second stream (79) to obtain a third stream (21) comprising at least unreacted methane, methyl bromide, dibromomethane, and hydrogen bromide and removing said dibromomethane from said third stream (21), to produce a dibromomethane stream (103) and a fourth stream (27) comprising unreacted methane, methyl bromide and hydrogen bromide; wherein the fourth stream (27) is converted into chemicals. In its second aspect, the present disclosure concerns an installation for carrying out the process of the first aspect.

摘要: The present disclosure concerns a process for converting alkyl halides to ethylene and propylene, said process comprising the steps of (a) providing a feedstream comprising alkyl halides; (b) providing a first and second catalyst composition, said second catalyst composition comprising a cracking catalyst; (c) contacting said feedstream with said first catalyst composition in a first reaction zone under first reaction conditions to provide a first product stream, and (d) subjecting at least a part of said first product stream to an Olefin Catalytic Cracking with said second catalyst composition in a second reaction zone under second reaction conditions to provide a second product steam. The process is remarkable in that it further comprises a step of steaming said first catalyst composition before the step (c) and in that said first catalyst composition comprises zeolites and a binder, wherein said zeolites comprise at least one 10-membered ring channel.

The second aspect relates to the installation for performing the process of the first aspect and the third aspect concerns the use of bromine in such process.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a process for converting one or more alkyl halides to acyclic C3-C6 olefins, said process comprising the steps of (a) providing a feedstream comprising one or more alkyl halides; (b) providing a catalyst composition; and (c) contacting said feedstream with said catalyst composition under reaction conditions. The process is remarkable in that said reaction conditions include a reaction temperature below 400° C., and in that said catalyst composition comprises one or more molecular sieves with a Si/Al atomic ratio ranging from 2 to 18 and wherein said one or more molecular sieves comprise a plurality of pores, wherein said pores have a shape of an 8-membered ring or less.

摘要: The disclosure relates to a process to perform an endothermic steam reforming of hydrocarbons, said process comprising the steps of providing a fluidized bed reactor comprising at least two electrodes and a bed comprising particles, wherein the particles are put in a fluidized state to obtain a fluidized bed; heating the fluidized bed to a temperature ranging from 500° C. to 1200° C. by passing an electric current through the fluidized bed to conduct the endothermic reaction. The process is remarkable in that the particles of the bed comprise electrically conductive particles and particles of a catalytic composition, wherein at least 10 wt. % of the particles are electrically conductive particles and have a resistivity ranging from 0.001 to 500 Ohm·cm at 800° C. and in that the step of heating the fluidized bed is performed by passing an electric current through the fluidized bed.

摘要: The disclosure relates to a process to perform an endothermic methane pyrolysis reaction, said process comprising the steps of providing at least one fluidized bed reactor comprising at least two electrodes; and a bed comprising particles, wherein the particles are put in a fluidized state by passing upwardly through the said bed a fluid stream, to obtain a fluidized bed; heating the fluidized bed to a temperature ranging from 500° C. to 1200° C. to conduct the endothermic methane pyrolysis reaction; wherein the particles of the bed comprise electrically conductive particles and particles of a catalytic composition; wherein at least 10 wt. % of the particles are electrically conductive particles and have a resistivity ranging from 0.001 Ohm·cm to 500 Ohm·cm at 800° C. and wherein the step of heating the fluidized bed is performed by passing an electric current through the fluidized bed.

The process is remarkable in that the particles of the bed comprise electrically conductive particles and particles of a catalytic composition, wherein at least 10 wt. % of the particles are electrically conductive particles and have a resistivity from 0.001 to 500 Ohm.cm at 500° C. and in that the step of heating the fluidized bed is performed by passing an electric current through the fluidized bed.
