    摘要: The invention relates inter alia to a method for cutting a workpiece, in particular a blank or a component, comprising the following steps: inserting the workpiece into a cutting device, wherein the cutting device comprises a first tool half having at least one workpiece holder and at least one first cutting means, which comprises a first cutting edge and a contact surface, and a second tool half having at least one second cutting means having a second cutting edge and a contact surface, clamping the workpiece by means of the workpiece holder and the contact surface of the second cutting means, cutting the workpiece by means of the cutting means, the workpiece undergoes, prior to cutting, both a first prebending, which is produced substantially in the opposite direction counter to the cutting direction, and thereafter a second prebending in the cutting direction.

    摘要: A coil slitting tool in the form of a rotary serrator knife for use on coil slitting machines comprises a plurality of serration undulations disposed on one or more faces about the outer periphery. The rotary serrator knife tool may comprise a concentrically located bore about an inner diameter for mounting on an arbor and may further incorporate a keyway. The rotary serrator knife may be formed from an assembly comprising, a central rotary disk about which mount one or more removable inserts comprising the serration undulation portion. The one or more removable inserts may comprise serration undulations on one side or two sides and mount substantially to the perimeter of a mounting disk by use of fasteners.

    摘要: A cutting method using a stamping press according to the present disclosure is a method to cut a workpiece that is configured from a first metal sheet and a second metal sheet joined at a weld portion and that has a heat-affected zone around the weld portion, in which the workpiece is cut using a punch. The punch includes a flat portion and a projecting portion projected more toward the workpiece than a flat portion of the punch. The workpiece is positioned with respect to the punch at a position such that the projecting portion starts cutting at least at one out of the heat-affected zone or the weld portion before the flat portion cuts the workpiece. The workpiece is then cut by moving the punch and a die relative to each other in this state of positioning so as to shear across the weld portion on the workpiece.

    摘要: A rotary cutting apparatus includes a pair of cutting tools each having a cutting blade along a tip end of its outer peripheral portion having a mountain-shaped cross section, and cuts a cylindrical material into pieces with a predetermined width by sandwiching the cylindrical material between the cutting blades so the cutting blades are respectively placed on inner and outer peripheries of the cylindrical material, and relatively rotating and moving the pair of cutting tools along an entire circumference of the cylindrical material. A second imaginary line connecting an axial center of the cylindrical material and an axial center of the inner peripheral-side cutting tool is shifted in a circumferential direction of the cylindrical material about the axial center of the cylindrical material with respect to a first imaginary line connecting the axial center of the cylindrical material and an axial center of the outer peripheral-side cutting tool.
