    摘要: A concrete pile cutting assembly configured for cutting a concrete pile includes a cutting saw portion supported on a collar portion. The collar portion securely engages the concrete pile and mounts the cutting saw portion adjacent the concrete pile at a desired height such that a cutting blade of the cutting saw portion cuts, or severs, the concrete pile at the desired height. The collar portion includes a plurality of collar elements each having a beam, a connecting flange, and a locking fastener. The locking fastener of a first beam engages with a corresponding beam opening of a second beam to connect adjacent collar elements together. Each beam has at least one mounting cylinder and the cutting saw portion includes a post for engaging with one of the mounting cylinders provided on the beams to mount the cutting saw portion onto the collar portion.

    摘要: An internal caisson/jacket leg cutter and method provides a frame having upper and lower end portions. The upper end portion has rigging that enables the frame to be lifted. Extensible arms are movably supported upon the frame. The arms extend and retract along generally radially extending lines. Extension of the arms enables them to contact the inside surface of a caisson/jacket leg and thus center and anchor the frame within the caisson/jacket leg interior. A cutting mechanism at the lower end portion of the frame includes one or more rotary cutters or milling devices that cut the caisson/jacket leg wall as these cutters traverse an arc shaped path, tracking the caisson/jacket leg wall.

    摘要: The crushing tools are designed as rocker-like chisels having cutting edges. These chisels are pivotably supported at a frame such to pivot around a horizontal axis. These chisel-like crushing tools are operated by a piston-cylinder unit which extends almost vertically and is pivotably mounted to the box-shaped frame. Accordingly, the apparatus can be designed with a small width. Furthermore, the rocker-like design of the crushing tools allows due to the various lengths of the lever arms an increase of the forces without necessitating an exchanging of the piston-cylinder units. Furthermore, an adjusting of the apparatus to pillars of varying thickness is made merely by an exchanging of the crushing tools having dimensions of cutting edges which are selected in accordance with the prevailing distances between the reinforcing bars.

    摘要: There are disclosed a method and apparatus for severing a tubular member at a desired level beneath the ocean floor or other underwater surface from which the tubular member extends. The apparatus includes an assembly which is disposable about the tubular member at the underwater surface, and which includes means by which fluid may be jetted for scouring the underwater surface about the tubular member in order that the assembly may move downwardly under its own weight. The tubular member is severed by means of a shaped charge carried by the assembly and adapted to be detonated when lowered with the assembly to the desired level.
