摘要: A mobile manipulator robot for retrieving inventory items from a storage system. The robot includes a body, a wheel assembly, a sensor to locate a position of the robot within the storage system, an interface configured to send processor readable data to a remote processor and to an operator interface, and receive processor executable instructions from the remote processor and from the operator interface, an imaging device to capture images of the inventory items, a picking manipulator, first and second pneumatic gripping elements for grasping the inventory items, and a coupler configured to mate with a valve to access a pneumatic supply for operating at least one of the first or second pneumatic gripping elements. The robot is configured to transition the valve from a closed condition to an open condition and selectively place one of the first or the second pneumatic gripping elements in communication with the pneumatic supply.

摘要: A pack wall carton selection and replenishment system comprising: a delivery cart with a delivery cart controller configured to receive information representing a replenishment shipping carton to be retrieved from a shipping carton supply area and delivered to a pack wall, provide for retrieving one or more shipping cartons from the shipping carton supply area, actuate a cart indicator assembly to identify a cart partition where to place the retrieved shipping cartons on the delivery cart, actuate a delivery cart indicator assembly to identify the replenishment shipping carton to be placed on the pack wall; and, a pack wall controller in communication with the delivery cart controller configured to receive an order item information, actuate a first pack wall indicator assembly to indicate a desired shipping carton to be used for packing an items represented by the order item information.

摘要: A system, method, and apparatus for picking-an-putting product are disclosed. Within a logistics and product fulfillment environment, such as in a warehouse or distribution center environment, for example, a picking zone is established having picking bays arranged in framed rows with each picking bay having pick module associated therewith. Multiple cartons are indexed into a carton train and an operator is directed to pick-by-light and put-by-voice. More particularly, the operator is directed to a pick by the light display informing the operator which products to pick. Within each pick, a voice indication directs the operator to one or more puts by directing the operator to select a number of product and corresponding carton from the picking bay associated with the pick.

摘要: A method and system for piece-picking or piece put-away within a logistics facility. The system includes a central server and at least one mobile manipulation robot. The central server is configured to communicate with the robots to send and receive piece-picking data which includes a unique identification for each piece to be picked, a location within the logistics facility of the pieces to be picked, and a route for the robot to take within the logistics facility. The robots can then autonomously navigate and position themselves within the logistics facility by recognition of landmarks by at least one of a plurality of sensors. The sensors also provide signals related to detection, identification, and location of a piece to be picked or put-away, and processors on the robots analyze the sensor information to generate movements of a unique articulated arm and end effector on the robot to pick or put-away the piece.

The warehouse also comprises moving means configured for moving a drawer (2) between a rest position in which it is stored in a respective housing seat (5) and an access portion (6), and vice versa. The access portion (6) comprises a laser targeting system (8) configured to generate at least one point-like beam (9) and at least a linear beam (10) defining a localization track to locate an item or a housing zone in the drawer (2) disposed in the access portion (6). The automated warehouse (1) comprises a control unit operatively connected at least to the laser targeting system (8) and programmed for receiving information on at least one item to be taken/stored, and controlling the laser targeting system (8) so as to position the localization track according to the item to be taken/stored.

摘要: A sorting device comprises a support member for supporting and transporting an article. The support member is drivable in a conveying direction. The sorting device also comprises a loading station at which at least an article can be loaded to the support member, and an unloading station at which at least an article can be removed from the support member. The unloading station is provided with a plurality of receivers for receiving an article that is removed from the support member. The receivers are arranged transversely with respect to the conveying direction and disposed such that they are below the support member when the support member is at the unloading station. Furthermore, the sorting device comprises a controller for directing an article that is supported and transported by the support member to a selected one of the receivers.
