The latch is mounted for movement between a position wherein it engages a fixed part of the vehicle to secure the door in the closed position and a position remote from the fixed part of the vehicle such that the door can be opened. A latch movement preventing member is moveable relative to the latch between a position remote from the path of movement of the latch, wherein the latch is free to disengage the fixed part of the truck, and a position intersecting the path of the latch, wherein movement of the latch to disengage the fixed part of the truck is blocked. A pair of magnets are oriented to force the member to move from its remote position, against the action of a spring, to its intersecting position, to prevent the latch from disengaging the fixed part of the truck.

    摘要: A common method to operate a door is to have a door knob on the door connected to a latch which slides through an opening in the door into another opening in the door jamb. When the door is closed the latch extends from the door through the strike plate and into the door jamb. To open the door the latch must slide away from the door jamb past the strike plate and into an opening in the door (usually accomplished by turning the door knob, pressing a lever handle or turning a key). By inserting a pin through the latch when the door is closed, the latch cannot slide away from the door jamb and the door cannot be opened.

    摘要: An actuator for pressing a plurality of circuit contacts carried on a microcircuit package against a plurality of test contacts has a frame having a top surface and a bottom surface facing away from the top surface. The frame has first and second end slots each intersecting the top surface at opposite ends thereof. A loader foot is carried by the frame's bottom surface for applying force to a microcircuit. First and second latch elements, each respectively mounted within the frame's first and second end slots are each shiftable between a latched position and an unlatched position within the frame's first and second slots, each said latch element when in the latched position for gripping an edge of an alignment plate and when in the unlatched position for releasing the alignment plate. An actuator element mounted on the frame's top surface receives manual force and converts the received manual force to force applied to the latch elements to shift the latch elements between the latched and unlatched positions.

    摘要: The invention generally relates to a latch apparatus having a locking live bolt. One embodiment of the invention is a latch apparatus having a housing with opposed plates that are spaced apart and secured to each other by support arms formed from the plates. A live bolt of the apparatus is slidably mounted in the housing and horizontally actuated between an extended and a retracted position. A live bolt hub is mounted in the housing and actuates the live bolt. A slide, actuated by a rotatable cam, is mounted in the housing and moves vertically between a first position and a second position. In the first position the slide is disengaged from the live bolt, and in the second position the slide locks the live bolt in an extended position.
