Abstract:
A top panel of an appliance defines an appliance profile. A hinge assembly coupled to the appliance and an appliance lid allows the lid to pivot relative to the appliance between a lowered position in which the appliance lid rests horizontally above the appliance and a raised position in which the appliance lid defines a non-horizontal plane away from the appliance allowing access to at least a portion of the appliance. The hinge assembly includes one or more snap fit portions to engage the appliance profile of the appliance, such that the appliance operates as a cam and the one or more snap fit portions operates as a follower when in contact with the cam, thereby slowing the descent of the lid from the raised position to the lowered position by travel of the follower along the cam.
Abstract:
A sliding door system includes a door frame and a sliding door leaf that can move relative thereto. A catch is arranged either on the door frame or on the sliding door leaf, which can be coupled to a drive element of a feed device arranged on the respective other component. The feed device has a spring energy store and a cylinder-piston unit. The cylinder-piston unit has a piston that separates a displacement chamber from a compensation chamber. A passage cross-section between the displacement chamber and the compensation chamber can be changed in a load-dependent manner by a piston disk that can be applied at a piston end side. The tension force of the tension spring of a minimal effective length is between 1.5 and 3.5 times the total static friction force of the sliding door leaf and the resistance of the cylinder-piston unit at the maximum passage cross-section.
Abstract:
A door presenting device for a motor vehicle door element having an electric drive unit and an actuating means, wherein the actuating means can be adjusted by means of the drive unit and a gear mechanism arranged between the actuating means and the drive unit, with the result that a movement of the door element can be enabled, and further having a locking means. The door element can be maintained in position by means of the locking means and the locking means can be electrically actuated, namely indirectly, preferably manually, actuated.

Abstract:
An automotive door system includes a hinge supporting a door. A door check module interconnects to one of the vehicle and the door by a linkage assembly. An output shaft is connected to the linkage assembly and rotates relative to a door check module housing. The output shaft provides an output torque to check the door in a desired door position. A sensor detects rotation of the shaft and produces a signal in response thereto. A brake assembly includes a shaft member operatively connected to the output shaft. The brake assembly has a normally closed position in which the shaft member is grounded to the housing in a door check mode. The brake assembly includes an open position that corresponds to one of a door closing mode and a door opening mode. The brake assembly moves from the normally closed position to the open position in response to the signal.
Abstract:
A sliding arrangement, in particular a slide-out device for drawers, sliding doors, etc., includes a sliding piece and a pulling arrangement which can be coupled together by a coupling piece. The pulling arrangement can be placed in a resiliently pretensioned manner in a parking position and can be blocked in the parking position by a locking element. In order to ensure a reliable movement of a drawer or the like into the closure position, the locking element may be locked in the parking position of the pulling arrangement by a bar.
Abstract:
The sliding door closing device, according to the invention, features an easy door opening function with an opening system comprising: a slider (2) with an attachment (25) and gripper (8) on one side, properly shaped support (5) of the moving roller (10a) on the other side, pusher (13) contacting the roller support (5) of the roller (10a) with a slider gripper (8) and the opening device spring (14) and choke (12). The opening system allows for the opening of a door by pushing the door on a vertical strip or on the edge.
Abstract:
Device for opening cabinet door of cabinet body. Cabinet door is attached to cabinet body by self-closing hinges. Cabinet door is held in closed position at a small distance from the front of cabinet body. In order to allow cabinet door to be opened without gripping elements, without hindering the self-closing of the hinges, there is a unit having ejection piston with a locking apparatus and tension rod in cabinet body. Ejection piston is supported in the unit by compression spring, and tension rod is supported in the unit by tension spring. Ejection piston and tension rod are coupled to each other by a control apparatus having a freewheel, and thus by tapping on cabinet door the opening of cabinet door can be initiated and cabinet door can be brought into an intermediate position. In the intermediate position, cabinet door can be grasped by a hand and opened further.
Abstract:
A folding façade or folding awning arrangement includes at least two façade or awning elements, wherein a first façade or awning element is fixed on a building so that it can pivot about an axis, and wherein a second façade or awning element is pivotally held about a second displaceable axis and can be displaced along guides by way of a drive member, and wherein further a first collapsing edge of the first façade or awning element is pivotally connected to a second collapsing edge of the second façade and awning element to form a collapsing joint and can be moved in a manner released from the guides, collapsing transversely to the façade. The arrangement further includes at least one collapsible/fold-out and/or locking arrangement. Safe operation is achieved in that at least one pivoting actuating element is provided in the form of a collapsing/fold-out, pulling/drawing, and/or locking arrangement.
