Abstract:
A damping device for furniture doors includes a damping cylinder longitudinally displaceably mounted in a recess of a damper housing including a cylinder housing and a piston rod and forming a stop for the furniture door. The cylinder housing is longitudinally displaceably mounted in the recess of the damper housing, the recess being formed as a hole, the end thereof protruding out of the damper housing forming a stop for the furniture door. The adjusting screw forms an axial counterbearing for the piston rod. The inner diameter of an internal thread receiving the adjusting screw is at least equal to the inner diameter of the hole receiving the cylinder housing. The end of the piston rod is received in a centric hole of the adjusting screw

The holder for the illumination means (40) has an adapter (32) having an adapter housing (34) which can be mounted in the body and in which a spring-prestressed pressure piece (36), which can be displaced between two separate positions and is in direct or indirect operative connection with the switch, is arranged. The adapter housing (34) is provided on one of the furniture fittings holding the door or flap or the withdrawable part movably on or in the body.
Abstract:
A closure assembly for a vehicle pivotable between a closed position and a full open position, and a method of controlling its movement, is disclosed. The closure assembly includes a closure, a hinge mechanism attached to the closure, and a damper assembly. The damper assembly includes a damper actuator and a pneumatic closure damper, with the closure damper including a hollow bellows extending from a support base, an orifice and an end opposite the support base. The damper actuator is attached to the hinge mechanism and the support base is attached to the body structure such that the damper actuator is spaced from the end when the closure is in the closed position and the damper actuator is in contact with the end and compresses the bellows when the closure is in the full open position.

Abstract:
Damping device (30) for hinges (10) for the pivotable articulation of door leaves (12) or door flaps on the carcass of pieces of furniture, in which the hinge has respectively a supporting wall mounting part (18) which can be fixed on the supporting wall (14) and a door leaf mounting part (24) which is pivotably coupled via a linkage mechanism (20; 22) to the supporting wall mounting part and can be fixed on the inner face of the door leaf or flap, and which is preferably constructed as a cup part which is countersunk and engages in a recess in the door leaf or flap and has a laterally projecting fixing flange which bears on the inner face of the door leaf. The damping device (30) has a damper housing which is provided on the door leaf mounting part (24) and which is provided in the cavity thereof with a fluid or gaseous damping medium and a resistance element which is movable relative to the damping medium and is coupled to an actuating element (39) which extends out of the housing. At least during part of the pivoting movement of the mounting parts (18, 24) relative to one another the actuating element is in engaged connection directly or indirectly with the supporting wall mounting part (18) and transmits to the resistance element the relative movement of the mounting parts as they pivot. The damper housing (32) is a separate component which is provided with laterally projecting fixing flanges (38, 46) which can be fixed on the fixing flanges of the door leaf mounting part (24).
Abstract:
A furniture hinge has a door stop part, which includes an insertion cup and is attached on a furniture door, at least one pivoting arm that is connected to a furniture body being supported on the door stop part. A damping device including at least one damping cylinder engages in the door stop part. Each damping cylinder is disposed at least partially in a bore of the furniture door. The cylinder axis of the damping cylinder extends substantially perpendicularly to the door plane. The damping cylinder is moved during the pivoting thereof into the locking position of the furniture door by the pivoting arm.
Abstract:
In a combined deceleration and acceleration device for the controlled closing and opening of, for example, furniture parts, a base part consisting of a cylinder and a guide structure is provided wherein a drag element is movably supported by the guide structure, and a piston with a piston rod is connected to the drag element which has a park position remote from the cylinder and is biased by an energy storage structure toward the cylinder for moving the piston into the cylinder in a controlled decelerating manner while carrying along the drag element and a movable part engaged with the drag element.
Abstract:
A decelerating device intended to intercept an end-of-stroke part of a closing path of a mobile member, such as a furniture drawer or door, including: a body fastenable in use to an abutting surface for the mobile member and internally defining a sealed chamber filled in use with a viscous fluid; a pushrod at least in part overhanging from the body and being adapted to cooperate in use with the mobile member, the pushrod being integral with a stem slidingly accommodated in the body against the bias of elastic means between an extracted position of the pushrod and a retracted position; and a piston accommodated in the sealed chamber so as to divide it into two portions hydraulically connected to each other and mechanically connected to the stem; wherein the stem presents a first end integrally connected to the pushrod and a second end opposite to the first, both slidingly accommodated in the body outside the sealed chamber and fluid-tightly towards the sealed chamber itself; the piston is provided with a mobile sealing member to choke the hydraulic communication between the two portions of the sealed chamber only during the stroke of the stem towards the retracted position.
