摘要: A damping stopper is interposed between two members axially displaced relative to each other and is provided with an elastic body which, when the interval between the two members decreases, is axially compressed by the two members and expands radially outward. In the elastic body, a second member suppressing the expansion is located in one axial region and attached to the outer periphery. When axially compressed by the two members, the elastic body expands while receiving resistance by the second member. The expanding elastic body contacts the side wall of one of the two members.

摘要: An internal type, spring damper for use in an internal combustion engine or the like having a cylinder head with a poppet valve supported for movement between valve open and valve closed positions and with a coiled valve return spring loosely encircling the stem of the valve and operatively associated at one end with the valve and having its bottom end operatively in abutment with the cylinder head whereby to normally bias the poppet valve to the closed position, has at least its corresponding bottom end of reduced external diameter for a predetermined axial extent whereby to eliminate damper-to-spring contact for up to at least 11/2 coils of the valve spring at its bottom end.

摘要: A crossbar assembly for facilitating isolation of a sensor assembly from vibration of a payload mounting system on a vehicle comprising an outer crossbar segment, an inner crossbar segment, an isolator, and a damper. The isolator can be supported by the outer and inner crossbar segments. The damper is adjacent the isolator. The isolator is operable to deform in response to relative movement between the outer and inner crossbar segments. The isolator operates to partially decouple the outer crossbar segment from the inner crossbar segment and the damper dampens vibrations propagating between the outer and inner crossbar segments.
