    Abstract: A door actuating system for reversibly displacing a door in a longitudinal direction. Energization of a motor causes frictional engagement of a drive bar which is secured to the door. The drive bar is frictionally driven in a first longitudinal direction to correspondingly displace the door into an open condition. Upon opening of a doorway, the motor is de-energized and a counter-weight drive mechanism is actuated for frictionally driving the drive bar in a second longitudinal direction for closing the doorway.

    Abstract: The invention concerns a drive unit for moving a door relative to a door's opening. The drive unit comprises a drive motor and a wheel transmission assembly arranged for transfer of power to a drive wheel configured for engagement with a running surface for moving the door. The wheel transmission comprises a transfer wheel driven by the drive motor. A movable wheel carrier comprises a first running wheel and a second running wheel arranged in in engagement with the transfer wheel. The movable wheel carrier is arranged for displacement between a free wheel position where the first and second running wheel are arranged disengaged from the drive wheel for no power transfer to occur from the drive motor to the drive wheel, at least one running position where either of the first and second running wheel is positioned in engagement with the drive wheel for the transfer of power from the drive motor to the drive wheel.

    Abstract: A linear gate drive assembly with a drive rail connectable to a gate panel. The drive rail has a first drive surface. A linear drive portion is coupled to the first drive surface and has teeth thereon with a first rolling tooth profile. The linear drive portion defines a toothed second drive surface. Dive motors are pivotally coupled to a support structure. A first drive wheel is attached to one drive motor and engages the first drive surface to impart an axial drive force on the drive rail. A second drive wheel is attached to another drive motor and engages the second drive surface. The second drive wheel has second teeth that mate with the first teeth and that define a second rolling tooth profile that substantially corresponds to the first rolling tooth profile. Rotation of the second drive wheel imparts axial and normal forces via a rolling teeth interface the mating teeth for moving the drive rail and the gate panel.

    Abstract: The invention generally concerns an improved method for suspending and locking sliding means, which means it will no longer be necessary for an additional conduction structures at the bottom of the frame. By using the suspension system of this invention, it is no longer necessary to insert a bearing frame or framework in the window glass element, which makes it possible to realise seamless glass sections. Further, due to the absence of the additional conduction structures at the bottom of the frame element the indoor floors can pass into the outdoor floors without any barriers. The invention is based on using lifting and conduction structures as used in hermetic sliding doors, for opening and closing a window glass element where the edges of the window glass element have flexible sealing elements lying against the wall and the floor in the closed position of the window glass element.

    Abstract: An internally powered sliding panel has a power source and drive train contained internally within the stiles and rails of a frame. A driven wheel is rotatably mounted on the frame and connected to the power source via the drive train. The panel may further include a lift system including a second power source, a lift mechanism, and a lift drive which are contained internally within the stiles and rails of the frame. The power sources, drive train, lift mechanism, and lift drive may be contained completely inside the stiles and rails of the frame. The movement of the panel along a fixed path, and the raising and lowering of the panel, may be regulated by a control system. The control system includes a microcontroller and sensor used to determine the position of the panel.
