    摘要: A high-capacity miniature cartridge fuse is provided. The fuse includes a housing, a fusible element, and first and second ferrules fabricated from aluminum alloy. The aluminum alloy ferrules is fabricated to withstand high pressure generated inside the housing as a result of arcing and to stay in place after repeated temperature and pressure changes caused by at least one of i) current or ii) arcing during short circuit events. The aluminum alloy plated with a first metal plating fabricated from a first metal different from the aluminum alloy and a second metal plating fabricated from a second metal different from the first metal, the second metal plating overlaying the first metal plating. Each of the first and second ferrules includes a side wall and an end wall, wherein the end wall includes a boss extending toward an interior of the housing.

    摘要: The subsea fuse assembly includes an enclosure filled with a dielectric fluid and provided with an equalization opening, which is sealed with a flexible element. A first electric conductor extends into the enclosure through a first lead-through positioned in a wall of the enclosure. A second electric conductor is attached to an inner surface of a wall of the enclosure. A fuse is connected between the first electric conductor and the second electric conductor within the enclosure. A third electric conductor extends outside the enclosure and is attached to an outer surface of a wall of the enclosure. An electrically conductive path is thus provided between the second electric conductor and the third electric conductor through the electrically conductive enclosure.

    摘要: A fuse in form of breaking fusant by fusing breaking and mechanical breaking includes hollow shell; arc extinguishing medium filled in the shell; at least one piece of fusant arranged in the shell; and conductive terminals provided as penetrating through shell wall and capable to be connected to external circuit, two ends of the fusant are respectively connected with the conductive terminals, at least one breaking device that mechanically breaks the fusant is provided in the shell; driving device arranged outside the shell, after receiving external excitation signal, drives the breaking device to break the fusant in one of linear and rotational displacement modes or their combination; blocking structures are arranged between the breaking device and the shell wall; and the fusant located in the arc extinguishing medium is provided with weak positions where mechanical breaking strength of the fusant is reduced and fusing is easy to be achieved.

In some embodiments, the fuse assembly includes a core having a set of fusible elements extending between a first end fitting and a second end fitting, and a housing surrounding the core. The housing may include a first section having a first wall defining a first internal cavity, the first wall including a first slot and a first ridge, and a second section coupled to the first section, the second section having a second wall defining a second internal cavity. The second wall may include a second slot and a second ridge, wherein the first slot engages the second ridge and the second slot engages the first ridge. In some embodiments, the first and second sections define a set of openings for the first and second end fittings to extend therethrough.

The through holes are configured by cylindrical portions, only the cylindrical portions, the filler, and the conductive terminal pins being covered by an insulative resin.
