    摘要: Provided herein are approaches for securing an electrical protection device (e.g., a fuse). In one approach, an apparatus includes a conductor and a terminal coupling the conductor to the fuse, wherein the terminal includes an end cap having a cavity for receiving and securing the conductor, and a set of contact elements extending from a base member. The base member may be coupled to the end cap, and a body of the fuse may be coupled to the base member. In some approaches, a fuse blade of the fuse is disposed between the set of contact elements. In some approaches, the apparatus further includes a cover adjacent the terminal, wherein the cover is configured to engage the contact elements to increase a contact force and electrical connection between the set of contact elements and the fuse blade.

    摘要: A heat-reactive switch includes an airtight container with a housing and a lid plate, two conductive terminal pins fixed in through-holes in the lid plate, a fixed contact point fixed on one of the conductive terminal pins, a heater connected to the other conductive terminal pin and to the lid plate, a heat-reactive plate connected to the housing internal surface, the bending direction becoming inverted at a predetermined temperature, and a mobile contact point provided at the end of the heat-reactive plate. A heating element has a plurality of serpentine portions made from a metal plate in ribbon form, disposed between the lid plate and the heat-reactive plate so as to be parallel thereto. At least two of the serpentine portions are disposed to face each other while sandwiching the conductive terminal pin. Each portion follows the inner peripheral surface of the housing and have planar portions facing each other.

The resin housing is integrally formed at a predetermined position of the busbar. The resin cover is locked so as to cover an exposure window of the resin housing which is formed so that the fusible part is observed. The resin housing has an integral wall at the back position of the exposure window which faces the fusible part.

    摘要: The fuse assembly contains a first casing member with a first chamber, and a second casing member with a second chamber. An enclosed space is thereby formed by joining the first and second casing members together. A disconnection member is sandwiched between the first and second casing members. The disconnection member contains two electrodes and a fuse element between the two electrodes. Each electrode contains a first lateral section, a vertical section, and a second lateral section, jointly and integrally forming a C-like shape. The electrodes are positioned at two opposing ends of the second casing member and the fuse element is housed in the enclosed space. The enclosed space allows the fuse element to break off completely, thereby avoiding electrical arc and achieving enhanced usage safety.

    摘要: A device combining a thermal fuse and a resistor has a solid ceramic base of the wirewound resistor is changed to be hollow, a thermal fuse is disposed inside the ceramic base, the ceramic tube is the housing of the thermal fuse, one lead wire of the thermal fuse is passing through the end cap of one end of the wirewound resistor, the other end of the thermal fuse is extended out of the end cap of the other end of the wirewound resistor, the end cap of the wirewound resistor is extended out with a lead wire, then the whole product is encapsulated by epoxy resin. The device can serve as a basic unit, which is directly assembled to an existing high-frequency charger, it can take the place of the existing simple wirewound resistor or the wirewound resistor with a thermal fuse external contacted.

    摘要: An improved fuse including a fuse body formed of an electrically insulative material. The fuse body defines a cavity which extends from a first end of the fuse body to a second end of the fuse body. A fusible element is disposed within the cavity and extends from a first end face of the first end of the fuse body to a second end face of the second end of the fuse body. Insulated plugs are disposed within the cavity at the first and second ends of the fuse body wherein the plugs adhere to an interior surface of the fuse body and form seals that close the internal cavity. The fuse may further include end terminations that are applied to the ends of the fuse body in electrical contact with the fusible element.

    摘要: A fuse includes an electrical assembly and a fuse tube assembly. The electrical assembly has two electrical contacts accessible from the exterior of the fuse and a fuse element in contact with the two electrical contacts. The fuse tube assembly includes a support structure surrounding at least a portion of the electrical assembly and a reinforcing structure formed over the support structure and in contact with at least a portion of the electrical assembly. The reinforcing structure is made of a fiber matrix pre-impregnated with a resin.
