    摘要： Provided is a fuse device used for high rating and high current applications excellent in impact resistance at the time of current interruption, and capable of preventing falling off of the case. The fuse device includes: a base member; a cover member fitted to the base member and covering a surface of the base member; and a fuse element mounted on the surface of the base member; wherein one of the base member and the cover member is provided with a side wall intersecting with the plane of the surface of the base member and including an opening formed therein, and the other of the base member and the cover member is provided with a fitting projection projecting outward from a plane intersecting with the plane of the surface of the base member and fitted into the opening of the side wall.

    摘要： A fuse link used in alternate current medium- or high-voltage systems with a current frequency of 50 Hz includes a spring-type striker pin and is designed for the protection of electrical devices against consequences of short circuits and overloads. A porcelain housing with a star-core, external end caps closed by plugs, star-core end caps with a ring-shaped first tap designed to ensure electric contact between the star-core end cap and the external end cap of the fuse link is also included. A spring-type striker pin is positioned along the axis of the star-core. Each of the end caps of the star-core is provided with an additional second tap designed to centre the star-core relative to the axis of the fuse link. The spring-type striker pin is centred along the longitudinal axis of the fuse link.

    摘要： A surface-mount fuse for protecting a circuit, which includes a substrate having first and second surfaces, each surface having first, second, third, and fourth ends, the substrate also having first, second, third, and fourth sides. The fuse includes a metal strip attached to the first surface of the substrate with a layer of adhesive material, the layer of adhesive material being disposed between the metal strip and the first surface of the substrate, the metal strip having a first connection region, a second connection region, and a non-linear fuse link therebetween. The fuse further includes first and second wire leads, the first wire lead being conductively connected to the first connection region and horizontally projecting away from the first connection region, the second wire lead being conductively connected to the second connection region and horizontally projecting away from the second connection region, for connecting the fuse to the remainder of the circuit. Alternatively, the wire leads can include clip leads or other terminal leads. The fuse also includes a protective layer disposed on the fuse link. A method for making the fuse is also disclosed.
