The hand cart comprises a cart body extending vertically between a bottom portion and a top portion, and a plurality of wheels connected to the bottom portion of the cart body. The hand cart may support multiple racks, each rack having bins to house wire containers. The racks may have a dispensing cone for directing wire as it is pulled out of the wire containers. The cart is equipped with a brake assembly connected to the bottom portion of the cart body, the brake assembly having an engaged configuration in which the assembly extends to a surface on which the wheels rest and engages the surface to prevent the hand cart from changing location, but allowing it to be pivoted about the brake assembly.

摘要： A resilient cable caddy comprising a portable housing for storing reels of cable that has a lower base with a hinged top forming an enclosure for the reel. A reel of cable is rotatably mounted within the interior. A handle formed by abutting base and top portions enables carrying. Each reel comprises a spool with a central axle coupled at each end to spaced apart end caps, being retained by mounting rings. The spindles have bearing rings journaled to bearing races defined in the end caps. Both spindles comprise hubs disposed within case gudgeons. A two-piece spindle has a removable hub portion fitted to an internal socket. When reels are transported they may be stacked vertically atop one another with the one piece spindle engaging the empty and exposed spindle hub socket of an upper reel. Caddies may also be opened and stacked vertically for transportation.

摘要： The present invention discloses various aspects of a cable reel trailer that uses the automotive force of a tractor or truck used to transport the trailer, a method of making same, and a method of using. The inclusion of a pivotally connected tongue that is pivotally connected to the main frame of the trailer overcomes many of the aforementioned problems with the prior art because there is no motor or hydraulic system necessary for lifting the cable reel securely on to the trailer. In accordance with the present invention, the towing automotive force, such as a truck, tractor or any other hauling vehicle, provides all the power for lifting the cable reel, rather than requiring a separate power source on the trailer for doing the heavy lifting. By locking up the wheel on the trailer with a wheel stop, the forward movement provided by a towing truck can concentrate on lifting the cable reel instead of moving the trailer forward. This means that no separate on-board power is needed for lifting the cable reel.
