    摘要: This invention relates to a combined heating dish and storage container comprising an outer container formed of insulating material for low heat conduction. The outer container includes a first recess centrally formed in a surface of the outer container and a second recess formed in the surface and disposed at one lateral side of the first recess. A water filled bag is received within the first recess, and a layer of dehydrated lime provided within the first recess in an amount sufficient to cover the water filled bag. A food containing package is placed on the layer of dehydrated lime and received within the first recess. A ripcord for releasing water from the water filled bag so that the water is released and allowed to flow into the layer of lime is provided. The lime undergoes an exothermic reaction as it is exposed to the water to heat food within the food containing package. Eating utensils are disposed within the second recess so that a user may consume food which has been heated as a result of the exothermic reaction.

Other devices comprises two nested helices wound in the same sense; a single helix having a pressure plate at one end and an external or internal cap at the other; and a body of randomly convoluted or woven metallic filament.

    摘要: The invention relates to heating containers and, more particularly, to a handy heating container in which food or drink, canned or otherwise, to be heated, such as "sake", coffee, soup, curry, or the like, is set ready for being heated. The heating container has a water discharge device provided on the underside of a solution package containing water or a solution consisting principally of water; and the solution package and a heat generating material are housed in a retainer portion. With this arrangement, exothermic reaction progresses upward from the bottom portion of the heat generating material so that the can is efficiently heated. Furthermore, any water vapor produced is absorbed by the upper portion of the heat generating material so that water vapor jetting through the gap between the can and the container or blowing out of the can is effectively prevented.

    摘要: Compositions capable of exothermic reaction in the condensed state are prepared by pressing a mixture of powders comprising a reactive metal such as titanium, boron carbide and, optionally, carbon (e.g., graphite and/or lampblack) and boron. With moderately fine particle size of boron carbide (about -400 mesh), sustainer compositions are formed. With considerably finer particle size of boron carbide (about -800 mesh), booster compositions are formed. A preferred composition consists essentially of about 67 to 79% titanium, about 13 to 30% boron carbide, up to about 10% carbon and up to about 10% boron.
