摘要: The present invention relates to image processing, and more particularly, to a video coding/decoding method using a clipped motion vector and an apparatus thereof. An embodiment of the present invention relates to a method of decoding an image. The method includes clipping a motion vector of a reference picture in a predetermined dynamic range to generate a clipped motion vector, storing the clipped motion vector in a buffer, deriving a motion vector of a coding treeblock using the motion vector stored in the buffer, and performing inter prediction decoding process using the motion vector of the coding treeblock. According to the exemplary embodiment of the present invention, a size of a memory required for storing motion vectors may be reduced.

摘要: Method and devices are provided for video coding. In the method, a decoder obtains a cross-component sample adaptive offset (CCSAO) quantization associated with an offset quantization control syntax and a quantization step size that are predefined or indicated by an encoder at at least one level. Furthermore, the decoder obtains a CCSAO based on the CCSAO quantization and adds the CCSAO to a reconstructed sample for prediction.

摘要: A method, device, and non-transitory computer-readable medium for decoding an encoded video bitstream using at least one processor, including, obtaining from the encoded video bitstream a first flag indicating that reference picture resampling is enabled for coded video sequence (CVS); determining a value of a second flag indicating whether a picture resolution is changed in the CVS; based on the value of the second flag indicating that the picture resolution is changed in the CVS, decoding the CVS using the reference picture resampling for spatial scalability and adaptive resolution change (ARC); and based on the value of the second flag indicating that the picture resolution is not changed in the CVS, decoding the CVS using the reference picture resampling for the spatial scalability, and without using the reference picture resampling for the ARC.

摘要: Aspects of the disclosure provide methods and apparatuses for video encoding/decoding. In some examples, an apparatus for video decoding includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry decodes from a coded video bitstream, transform coefficients associated with a coding block that is a non rectangular partition of a picture. Further, the processing circuitry determines residuals of the coding block based on the transform coefficients, and reconstructs samples of the coding block based on the residuals of the coding block.

摘要: Aspects of the disclosure provide a method and an apparatus including processing circuitry that decodes prediction information indicating a cross-component linear model (CCLM) mode being applied to a chroma block in a current picture. For a first region in the chroma block, the processing circuitry determines a first adjustment value used to modify an offset parameter in the CCLM mode based on a first subset of reconstructed samples in a luma block collocated with the chroma block. The first subset of the reconstructed samples does not include one or more samples in the luma block. The processing circuitry updates the offset parameter based on the first adjustment value. The processing circuitry determines a second adjustment value used to modify a slope parameter in the CCLM mode based on a second subset of the reconstructed samples in the luma block and updates the slope parameter based on the second adjustment value.

The current block is predicted with intra prediction fusion comprising multiple candidate intra prediction modes. The processing circuitry applies a transform from a transform set associated with the dominant intra prediction mode for the current block and decodes the current block according to the transform.
