    摘要: The present invention provides a beveling tool including: a body with a shaft hole formed through the center; a plurality of cutter blades arranged at predetermined distances on the circumferential surface of the body, each having a radial primary blade with a radial primary relief angle ranging from about 10 to about 20 degrees and a radial secondary blade with a radial secondary relief angle ranging from about 25 to about 35 degrees (or about 35 to about 45 degrees); discharge grooves formed longitudinally between the cutter blades to discharge chips produced in beveling; and a shank inserted in the shaft hole of the body, in which the body and the shank are connected by brazing. With the beveling tool of the present invention, it is possible to smoothly discharge chips produced in beveling and to prevent damage to the cutter blades.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a chamfer device for machining a weld bead surface, which specifically carries out a chamfering process on the welding bead surfaces of objects to be processed (such as metal sheet materials and pipes). In the present invention, immediately after a chamfering-amount-adjustment unit has been rotated and released, a position-setting pin is inserted into a securing recess in the chamfering-amount-adjustment unit, while the chamfering amount is adjusted in precise units and simultaneously locked at a predetermined chamfering amount which is automatically maintained, and the adjustment of the chamfering amount is achieved in a straightforward fashion with just one touch. When the chamfering-amount-adjustment unit is operated, a mobile cutter shaft moves vertically and as it does so the chamfering amount is adjusted in such a way that the chamfering amount can be immediately and rapidly adjusted while continuously operating without regard to any cutter rotation action.

    摘要: A portable beveling tool that is attached to a power tool having a rotary cutter for beveling pipe. The beveling tool includes a base, two rollers extending away from the base, and a tool mount that rotatably mounts the power tool to the base. The rollers and the cutter cooperate to locate the beveling tool on the pipe and to guide movement of the beveling tool around the pipe. The position of one of the rollers is adjustable to accommodate pipes of different diameters and wall thicknesses. An operator can move the beveling tool around the end of the pipe without changing his or her grip on the power tool.

    摘要: There is provided a beveller for processing an edge of a member to be processed into a slanted surface (a bevel), and, more particularly, to a multi-purpose beveller which improves a level of completion of bevel process through thoroughly processes an edge positioned at a corner by using a beveling tool for a corner mounted onto the beveller and which expands the application fields of the beveller through processing a curved section by simply replacing a rotary cutter for a corner coupled to an adapter with a cutter for a curved section. The present invention is realized by providing the technique of thoroughly processing an edge deeply positioned at a corner by selectively mounting a beveling tool for a right angled corner or a beveling tool for an acute angled corner onto the beveller, the technique of smoothly processing an edge in a corner section by sequentially separating the beveling tool for a corner and a rotary cutter for a corner coupled to an adapter and thereafter coupling a new rotary cutter for a curved section to the adapter, and the technique of applying the beveling tool for a right angled corner and the beveling tool for an acute angled corner to processing an edge in a straight-line section.

    摘要: A rotary cutting tool is provided for cutting an opening in a sheet of material (e.g., drywall) around a pre-installed item (e.g., an electrical box). The cutting tool may include a shaft, at least one cutter, a guide tip and a shoulder formed by a lower edge of the cutter adjacent the guide tip. The shoulder may have a width that corresponds to the width of a wall of the pre-installed item. The width of the shoulder may be equal to the width of the wall, or it may be slightly greater than the width of the wall. The guide tip may include a bearing to prevent marring of the wall of the item when the guide tip is rotating and in contact with the wall. An adjustable collar and corresponding bearing may also be disposed around the shaft for controlling a preferred cutting depth of the cutter. The cutting tool may be engaged with any suitable rotary tool, including one having an adjustable table for controlling a preferred cutting depth of the cutter. Related methods of using a cutting tool to cut an opening for receiving the item or box are also provided. The rotating guide tip may be moved into contact with the wall and the shoulder may be positioned above and/or in contact with an upper edge of the wall. The cutting tool is then moved around the wall while rotating to cut an opening in the material through which the item or box may be positioned.
