摘要: A device for holding a bit for a tool, the bit to be disassembled and/or re-assembled when held, includes a housing to be secured to a stationary base and a clamping mechanism for releasably clamping the bit to the housing so that it may be disassembled and/or re-assembled, the clamping mechanism including a recess provided in the housing, a movable gripping element arranged inside the recess and having a first gripping area for engaging the bit part, and a stationary gripping element, the gripping element having a second gripping area for engaging a bit part, wherein the movable gripping element is configured to be moved between an open position wherein the stationary gripping element and the movable gripping element are spaced to allow to receive or to remove the bit part and a clamping position wherein the bit part is clamped between first and second gripping areas of the gripping elements.

摘要: The present invention provides a method and apparatus including a rotor mountable fixture for guiding a cutting tool powered by a hand held air motor to machine a gas turbine engine rotor without removing the rotor from its mountings in the engine. In one particular embodiment the fixture includes a root having the same contour as a blade root slot of a rotor, a base having a platform attached to the root, and a machining guide in the form of a bushing restrained in a guide slot operable to receive and guide a hand held air motor powered cutting tool for machining the rotor. The present invention provides an accurate means to machine a gas turbine engine rotor without removing the rotor from its mounting. In one particular embodiment a method for machining the rotor in the field is provided using a hand held air motor to power a machining tool to cut a blade damper pocket in the dovetail slot of a pressure compressor rotor.

摘要: A portable helical milling unit has a tool, an eccentric spindle, an outer sleeve, a sleeve housing, and a plurality of transmission mechanisms used to provide power. The eccentric spindle is detachably provided in an output section of the outer sleeve. Each of the eccentric spindle and the outer sleeve has a pre-set eccentricity. The tool is in connection with an eccentricity adjustment mechanism. The outer sleeve is installed in the sleeve housing. The outer sleeve is in connection with a first transmission mechanism and a third transmission mechanism. The eccentric spindle is in connection with a second transmission mechanism. All eccentric spindles have the same shape, can be installed in the outer sleeve and can be quickly replaced, so as to achieve precise and large-range adjustment of the eccentricity, thereby expanding the aperture range of processed holes, and improving processing quality and efficiency.

摘要: Electric spindle for numerical control machines structured to lock and rotationally drive a tool about a predetermined reference axis locally coinciding with the longitudinal axis of the tool; the electric spindle comprising: an outer structural casing that is structured to be rigidly attachable to a generic numerical control machine; an electric motor that is housed within the structural casing and is provided with a drive shaft, which projects/emerges with its front end outside the structural casing while remaining locally coaxial to the reference axis of the electric spindle; a rotating thrust-bearing bushing or sleeve, which is fitted in an axially rotatable manner on the front end of the drive shaft via interposition of a first set of annular rolling bearings, and is maintained coaxial to the reference axis of the electric spindle by a second set of annular rolling bearings, which are interposed between the rotating bushing or sleeve and the structural casing; and at least one disassemblable tool-holder head that is structured to be attachable, in a rigid and stable though easily releasable manner, to the front end of the drive shaft, is structured so as to accommodate and retain, in a rigid and stable though easily releasable manner, the shank of a generic tool for numerical control machines, and is provided with a peripheral crown that is dimensioned/structured to stably abut, selectively and alternatively, on the front end of the drive shaft or on the rotating thrust-bearing bushing or sleeve.

摘要: The present invention provides a beveling tool including: a body with a shaft hole formed through the center; a plurality of cutter blades arranged at predetermined distances on the circumferential surface of the body, each having a radial primary blade with a radial primary relief angle ranging from about 10 to about 20 degrees and a radial secondary blade with a radial secondary relief angle ranging from about 25 to about 35 degrees (or about 35 to about 45 degrees); discharge grooves formed longitudinally between the cutter blades to discharge chips produced in beveling; and a shank inserted in the shaft hole of the body, in which the body and the shank are connected by brazing. With the beveling tool of the present invention, it is possible to smoothly discharge chips produced in beveling and to prevent damage to the cutter blades.

Embodiments of this invention allow round rotating cutting inserts to be used in a more economical way, with improved accuracy, with improved sealing, and with greater ease of use. The rotary support device and cutting inserts may be used in either radial or tangential mounting types of cutters. It also provides a built-in, fully sealed means of fine adjustment of the cutting insert that is useful in some applications.

摘要: The invention relates to a stop for a rotating drilling, milling or countersinking tool which comprises a stop sleeve which is freely rotatably coupled, by means of a sliding or rolling bearing, around the tool. A first bearing bush of the bearing supports the stop sleeve. A second bearing bush of the bearing sits in a rotationally fixed manner on a shaft sleeve. The shaft sleeve can be pushed and fastened on a shaft of the tool. In a secondary aspect, the invention relates to a drilling, milling or countersinking tool having such a stop.

摘要: A device and method for holding a bit for a tool. The holding device, which is secured to a support surface, includes a housing having a base, a first leg and a second leg. A slot is defined between the first and second legs and the shank of the bit is received through one of a plurality of differently dimensioned apertures defined along the slot between the first and second legs. An adjustment assembly is engaged with the first and second legs and is movable to a first position to clamp the shank in the selected aperture; and is movable to a second position to release the shank. When the adjustment assembly is moved from the second position to the first position, a free end of the second leg bends toward the first leg, thereby reducing the diameter of the aperture within which the shank is received.
