摘要： A method and system for calibrating a wireless sensor device are disclosed. In a first aspect, the method comprises determining a vertical calibration vector and determining a rotation matrix using the vertical calibration vector to line up native axes of the wireless sensor device with body axes. In a second aspect, a wireless sensor device comprises a processor and a memory device coupled to the processor, wherein the memory device includes an application that, when executed by the processor, causes the processor to determine a vertical calibration vector and to determine a rotation matrix using the vertical calibration vector to line up native axes of the wireless sensor device with body axes.

摘要： A system and method for providing awareness in a hospitality environment are presented. In one embodiment, a vertical and horizontal array of set-top boxes is provided and each set-top box includes an identification corresponding to the room in which the set-top box is placed. Each set-top box includes a wireless transceiver that periodically transmits an identification beacon that is received by a proximate wireless-enabled interactive device. The proximate wireless-enabled interactive device, in turn, broadcasts data packets including an indication of the strength of set-top box identification signals received. The broadcasts are received by a server via an array of wireless routers. The location of the proximate wireless-enabled interactive device is determined based on the signal strength information in the data packets.

摘要： The invention relates to a method for checking the use of a vehicle provided to a predetermined user, characterized in that it includes the following steps: a digital means, located in a terminal or in a vehicle connected to said terminal, reads data containing an identifier of said user: said user identifier is sent to a central computer system managing a plurality of vehicles and a plurality of users, in order to compare said user identifier with at least one datum from a user database; and, in the event the vehicle has been provided correctly, said central system sends at least one message enabling a control signal to be sent to a means for controlling at least one function of said assigned vehicle, or an infrastructure to which the latter is connected.

摘要： A method for displaying driving-specific data in a motor vehicle, preferably within a driver's visual range, is provided. The display can be switched to a sport mode by a control element (CE) and current lap times can be recorded and stored by an analog and/or digital time recorder that is started and stopped by the driver. From the stored values a reference can be selected in a performance display which is compared with the particular lap time currently being recorded and with the difference between the current lap time and the reference time is displayed.
