摘要: A board-to-board connector can electrically connect a first printed circuit board having a receptacle mounted thereon to a second printed circuit board having a plug mounted thereon. The receptacle includes a first housing and three first contacts and the plug includes a second housing and three second contacts. The first housing includes a concave portion and a first contact accommodation chamber. The concave portion can be fitted to the plug. The first contact accommodation chamber can accommodate a winding portion of the first contact. In the first contact, a lead terminal is fixed to the first printed circuit board and a contact terminal is fixed to the first housing. In the first contact, the first housing is movably supported by the winding portion with respect to the first printed circuit board.

摘要: It is aimed to avoid the abrasion of a contact portion of a terminal fitting. When a harness-side housing (4) is connected to a board-side housing (1), a contact portion (12) of a terminal fitting (3) resiliently contacts a circuit board (2), whereas a body portion (5) of the terminal fitting (3) is pressed against a ceiling wall (19) of a cavity (14). The body portion (5) is formed with a projecting edge (13). When there is a thermal expansion difference in an arrangement direction of the cavities (14) between the circuit board (2) and the harness-side housing (4), the terminal fitting (3) pivots with a resilient abutting part of the contact portion (12) and the circuit board (2) serving as a supporting point.

摘要: A universal coupling is disclosed for electrically and mechanically connecting flexible printed circuit (FPC) components within asymmetric FPC modules. The universal coupling allows a first FPC component to be connected to a second FPC component in two or more different orientations. This allows identical FPC components to be used in two or more asymmetric FPC modules. This in turn allows a reduction in the number of parts and tooling required to fabricate the two or more asymmetric FPC modules, and a simplification of the fabrication process.

摘要: An exemplary miniature support has upper and lower spaced-apart engagement surfaces each having at least a portion that are parallel to each other. Two supports each with an end supporting the upper engagement surface and another end supporting the lower engagement surface. The two supports have a spring-like property so that the upper and lower engagement surfaces can repeatedly move between an uncompressed state when not engaged to provide an interconnection and a compressed state when engaged between two opposing boards to provide an interconnection between the boards. The connector is preferably made using 3-D printing and may be integrally made as part of a board also made using the same 3-D printing. The support may have upper and lower engagement surfaces and at least one of the at least two supports that are conductive to establish connectivity between the upper and lower engagement surfaces.

摘要: A plug connector includes a substrate-side housing, a fitting-side housing, a plurality of terminals having movable springs. The fitting-side housing is formed by a plurality of divided housings. The fitting-side housing is formed by a plurality of divided housings moveable separately in a width direction of the connector. The substrate-side housing includes a receiving chamber that receives the divided housings therein and an abutment receiving portion against which the divided housings displaced inside the receiving chamber abut. The terminals are disposed in each of the divided housings, and have contact portions inside the substrate-side housing and the divided housings, and the contact portions are to be in conductive contact with the connection object. The movable springs support each of the divided housings displaceably relative to the substrate-side housing.
