    摘要: A magnetic battery cell connection mechanism includes a first battery cell and a second battery cell. A first connector has a first body including a first electrical pathway. A first electrical contact is disposed on the first body and electrically connected to the first electrical pathway. A first magnet is connected to the first body, the first magnet being adapted to magnetically releasably secure the first body to a positive terminal of the first battery cell. A second connector has a second body including a second electrical pathway. A second electrical contact is disposed on the second body and electrically connected to the second electrical pathway. A second magnet is connected to the second body, the second magnet being adapted to magnetically releasably secure the second body to a negative terminal of the second battery cell. The first connector and the second connector are electrically connected to an electrical circuit.

The at least one female terminal is configured to be connected with the at least one male terminal of another electrical connector. A connector assembly includes two said electrical connectors. Since it needs only one mold to manufacture the two electrical connectors for two different purposes, manufacturing cost for the two electrical connectors of the connector assembly can be greatly reduced.

The system generally includes an electromagnet to assist in mating and, alternatively, unmating or uncoupling a first electrical connector with a second electrical connector. The system may include a first electrical connector having a first plurality of contacts, an electromagnet on the first electrical connector adapted to produce a magnetic force, and an input device adapted to receive an input and to provide an output that causes an electrical current to be supplied to the electromagnet.     摘要: A magnetic connector includes a first insulating housing, a printed circuit board, a plurality of magnetic bodies, a plurality of terminals and a second insulating housing. The first insulating housing has a bottom wall, a side wall, a recess being defined between the bottom wall and the side wall. The printed circuit board is received in the recess. The magnetic bodies are mounted to the printed circuit board. The terminals are mounted to the printed circuit board. The second insulating housing is mounted to the top of the first insulating housing and is covered the recess. The magnetic bodies and the terminals are exposed from a top surface of the second insulating housing. As described above, the magnetic bodies are mounted to the printed circuit board, and then the magnetic bodies are magnetized. Hence, manufacture cost of the magnetic connector is saved.
