摘要: A magnetic battery cell connection mechanism includes a first battery cell and a second battery cell. A first connector has a first body including a first electrical pathway. A first electrical contact is disposed on the first body and electrically connected to the first electrical pathway. A first magnet is connected to the first body, the first magnet being adapted to magnetically releasably secure the first body to a positive terminal of the first battery cell. A second connector has a second body including a second electrical pathway. A second electrical contact is disposed on the second body and electrically connected to the second electrical pathway. A second magnet is connected to the second body, the second magnet being adapted to magnetically releasably secure the second body to a negative terminal of the second battery cell. The first connector and the second connector are electrically connected to an electrical circuit.

摘要: A magnetic charging assembly includes an insert and an adapter including opposing front and back surfaces. Pins extend from the back surface of the adapter, and the front surface includes an outlet configured to receive a plug. A first set of magnets is provided adjacent to the back surface. The insert includes a front surface, a plurality of pin receiving cavities extending inwardly from the front surface, and a second set of magnets is provided adjacent to an inner side of the front surface. The first set of magnets and the second set of magnets enable the adapter to attach to the insert. The set of pins and the pin receiving cavities are electrically conductive such that, when the pins of the adapter are received by the pin receiving cavities of the insert, power is provided through the outlet of the adapter.

摘要: Power connectors that are easy to connect, have a low profile, and can convey one or more data signals. One example can provide a power connector that is easy to connect by providing an axisymmetric connector receptacle and connector insert. Magnets can be used to help guide a connection between a connector insert and a connector receptacle. Canted springs can be used to provide a tactile response to the insertion of the connector insert into the connector receptacle and to help to secure the connector insert in place when mated with the connector insert. Keying or self-aligning features can be included on either or both the connector insert and the connector receptacle to help guide mating.

摘要: A magnetic connector includes a first insulating housing, a printed circuit board, a plurality of magnetic bodies, a plurality of terminals and a second insulating housing. The first insulating housing has a bottom wall, a side wall, a recess being defined between the bottom wall and the side wall. The printed circuit board is received in the recess. The magnetic bodies are mounted to the printed circuit board. The terminals are mounted to the printed circuit board. The second insulating housing is mounted to the top of the first insulating housing and is covered the recess. The magnetic bodies and the terminals are exposed from a top surface of the second insulating housing. As described above, the magnetic bodies are mounted to the printed circuit board, and then the magnetic bodies are magnetized. Hence, manufacture cost of the magnetic connector is saved.
