    摘要: A method of decoupled modulation of a direct AC/AC MMC between a first AC network having a first waveform and a second AC network having a second waveform, the MMC having a double-star topology with a plurality of phase legs, each phase leg having a first branch and a second branch, each of the first and second branches comprising a plurality of series connected bipolar cells. The method includes performing a first modulation based on a reference signal of the first AC network, independently of a reference signal of the second AC network, to generate, for each phase leg, a first integer command signal corresponding to a first combination of cell states in the first and second branches of the phase leg needed for generating the first waveform. The method also comprises performing a second modulation based on the reference signal of the second AC network, independently of the reference signal of the first AC network to generate, for each phase leg, a second integer command signal corresponding to a second combination of cell states in the first and second branches of the phase leg needed for generating the second waveform. The method also includes, based on the first and second integer command signals, mapping to each branch a number of cell states to be used for concurrently generating both the first and second waveforms, generating branch-level command signals to a capacitor voltage balancing algorithm. The method also includes, based on the mapping and the balancing algorithm, sending firing signals to the plurality of cells of each branch.

    摘要: A motor drive apparatus includes: a converter which converts AC power to DC power and to output the DC power to a DC link; an inverter including power devices which converts the DC power to AC power for driving a motor; a capacitor provided in the DC link; a shut-off circuit to open and close an electrical path between the AC power source and the converter; a constant current control unit which performs control in such a manner as to allow a constant current supplied by the capacitor to pass through a detection target power device among the power devices in the inverter; and an abnormality detection unit which detects an abnormality in the detection target power device based on changes in voltage between a collector and an emitter of the detection target power device during a period in which the constant current passes through the detection target power device.

    摘要: A photovoltaic power circuit includes: a photovoltaic device, a resonant circuit, and a control circuit. The photovoltaic circuit receives light to generate an input voltage. The resonant circuit is coupled to the photovoltaic device, and converts the input voltage to an output voltage to supply electrical energy to a load circuit. The resonant circuit includes a resonant inverter, a primary resonator, and a secondary resonator. The resonant inverter receives the input voltage, and operates at least one switch therein according to a control signal, to convert the input voltage to an AC resonant voltage. The control circuit adjusts a switching frequency or a duty ratio of the control signal according to an input power or an output power, based on a resonant frequency of the resonant circuit, to determine a maximum power point.

    摘要: A phase converter that converts single phase AC electric power to balanced three phase AC power. Two input terminals are connectable to a single phase AC power source, and connect directly to two output terminals of the converter. The phase converter has a storage capacitor, three active half bridge modules connected to the storage capacitor and a controller. Two modules connect to the input terminals and charge the storage capacitor. The other module connects to a third output terminal. The controller switches the module connected to the third output terminal and one of the other modules to generate and shape a second phase and a resultant third phase.

    摘要: This power converter is provided with: three clusters (CLu, CLv, CLw) in which unit cells are cascade-connected; and power supplies of the same kind which are respectively connected to one end of each of the three clusters. Terminals of the three clusters at the side not connected to the power supplies are respectively connected to other ends of the power supplies connected to the other clusters to form a delta-connection configuration. Three connections of the delta-connection configuration are respectively connected to each of the U, V, and W phases of a three-phase alternating current, and power conversion between the power supplies and the three-phase AC is enabled. If DC power supplies (Vdcu, Vdcv, Vdcw) are employed as the power supplies, power conversion between the DC power supplies and the three-phase AC power supplies can be performed. If in-phase single-phase AC power supplies are employed as the power supplies, power conversion between either the single-phase AC power supplies and the three-phase AC power supplies, or the three-phase AC power supplies can be performed.

    摘要: Exemplary embodiments or implementations are disclosed of methods, apparatus, and systems for operating motors in variable speed situations. In an exemplary implementation, a method of controlling a variable-speed motor includes defining a control duration as a predetermined number of cycles of a multiple-phase power supply. Each speed in a range of speeds is defined by a corresponding number of the cycles of the control duration. Power is provided to the motor from the power supply at a selected one of the speeds, by enabling input from the power supply for the number of the cycles of the control duration corresponding to the selected speed.
