Abstract: A base station (BS) comprising a processor configured to perform operations is described. In an exemplary embodiment, the operations include generating one or more pre-configured grant (pre-CG) configurations. The operations also include transmitting the one or more pre-CG configurations to a user equipment (UE) to enable the UE to perform an initial transmission while the UE is in an RRC_INACTIVE state using a pre-CG resource based on the transmitted one or more pre-CG configurations. Each of the one or more pre-CG configurations includes a configuration of the pre-CG resource and one or more conditions to use the pre-CG resource. Abstract: A user equipment (UE) device including an antenna, a memory, an RF circuitry commutatively coupled to the antenna, and a processor configured to perform operations is described. In an exemplary embodiment, the operations include receiving the one or more pre-configured grant (pre-CG) configurations for an RRC_INACTIVE state from a network node. Abstract: A method for wireless communication includes: requesting transmission, by a wireless device, of uplink (UL) transmissions to a wireless station; receiving, by the wireless device, a UL cancellation indication (CI) to be applied to a determined reference region; determining, by the wireless device, a set of UL resources for cancellation based on the UL CI received from the wireless station (e.g., by determining an indication of particular interlaces and/or particular Physical Resource Blocks within such interlaces that are to be canceled), wherein at least a subset of the UL resources for cancellation are interlaced; and canceling, by the wireless device, UL transmissions over at least the determined set of UL resources for cancellation (i.e., additional UL transmissions may be cancelled, too). The wireless device may then perform UL transmissions that do not overlap with the determined set of UL resources for cancellation in any UL CI to the wireless station.

Abstract: Layer 2 handling during a cell change procedure includes decoding an RRC reconfiguration message received from a first cell. The RRC reconfiguration message includes a Layer 1 (L1) configuration corresponding to a second cell. The first cell and the second cell share an SDAP entity, a PDCP entity, an RLC entity, and a MAC entity. The first cell and the second cell have a separate L1 entity. In response to decoding the RRC reconfiguration message, the L1 configuration corresponding to the second cell is stored. A cell change message received from the first cell is decoded. The cell change message indicates that a cell change from the first cell to the second cell is to be performed. The stored L1 configuration corresponding to the second cell is applied for data transmission and reception associated with the second cell. A cell change to the second cell is initiated.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) transmits concurrent channel state information (CSI) processing capability information to a base station. The capability information can take various forms, and is intended to constrain the base station in the types of CSI requests that can be made to the UE. For example, the UE may indicate different CSI processing capabilities for intra-CC and inter-CC cases and/or for different codebook types. The UE may also specify supported combinations of codebook types for concurrent CSI reporting. The UE may also specify maximum resources or weighting factors for different codebook types. The UE may further restrict the rank information it provides and use a priority rule for “dropping” CSI report data due to payload size restrictions. The base station may direct, or the UE may implement, improved utilization of CSI resources that are shared for multiple concurrent CSI reports. Minimum time requirements for CSI reporting may also be relaxed.
