Abstract:
The present invention is directed to multinuclear lanthanides chiral clusters, based on phenyl-oxazoline-amide (POxA) ligands, and to methods of use thereof. The chiral clusters of this invention are highly fluorescent with high stability.
Abstract:
A pharmaceutical composition comprising an active agent that causes reduction of the level of systemic immunosuppression in an individual for use in treating a disease, disorder, condition or injury of the CNS that does not include the autoimmune neuroinflammatory disease, relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS), is provided. The pharmaceutical composition is for administration by a dosage regimen comprising at least two courses of therapy, each course of therapy comprising in sequence a treatment session followed by an interval session.
Abstract:
An antibody is disclosed which comprises an antigen recognition region which comprises six CDR amino acid sequences selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NOs: 4-15. Uses thereof are also disclosed.
Abstract translation:公开了包含抗原识别区的抗体,其包含选自SEQ ID NO:4-15的6个CDR氨基酸序列。 还公开了其用途。
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to fluorescent protein biosensors based on oligonucleotide cross reactive sensor arrays including a selective and a non-selective protein surface binding domain for protein detection. Interaction of different protein isoforms with the sensors of this invention yields a unique optical signature for each protein. The unique optical signature allows differentiating between closely related protein isoforms and diagnosing diseases and disorders associated with the proteins also in biofluids.
Abstract:
A method of treating cancer is disclosed. The method comprises administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of a pharmaceutical composition comprising an agent which induces a dissociation of the 26S proteasomal complex into a 20S component and a 19S component to thereby inhibit 26S proteasomal activity, wherein the pharmaceutical agent is devoid of a chemotherapeutic agent.
Abstract:
The present invention provides methods for early diagnosis of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and for determining the efficacy of a treatment for ALS in an ALS patient, i.e., monitoring ALS progression, utilizing cellular blood markers; as well as kits for carrying out these methods.
Abstract:
A reactor is provided which comprises: a plurality of reaction units located within a reaction zone, each of the reaction units being adapted to enable carrying out a chemical reaction of one or more raw gases (e.g. at least one of CO2 and H20); ingress means to allow introduction of the one or more raw gases into the reaction zone and to allow distributing the incoming gas to the plurality of reaction units; egress means to allow exit of reaction products from the reaction zone; and a heating system. The reaction units extend essentially along a longitudinal axis of the reaction zone and are arranged in a spaced-apart relationship along a lateral axis of the reaction zone. The heating system comprises a plurality of heating sources extending along the reaction zone, thereby providing at least a part of the energy to carry out the reaction process within the reaction units.
Abstract:
A method of inhibiting or preventing laminin assembly in a basement membrane is disclosed. The method comprising contacting a tissue with an agent which inhibits QSOX1 activity or expression, thereby inhibiting or preventing laminin assembly in the basement membrane.
Abstract:
A method of identifying a combination of antibodies with a combined improved anti-tumor activity is provided. The method comprising: (a) identifying binding epitopes of anti ErbB-2 antibodies; and (b) selecting a combination of at least two antibodies of the anti ErbB-2 antibodies exhibiting binding to different epitopes on the ErbB-2, at least one of the different epitopes being localized to a dimerization site of the ErbB-2, the combination of antibodies being with the combined improved anti-tumor activity. Also provided are novel antibody combinations uncovered according to the present teachings.
