    摘要: A coding method for coding a picture in a moving picture with a processor configured to code, on a block-by-basis, each picture in the moving picture, to generate a coded stream. The processor transforms each picture into coefficients representing spatial frequency components and quantizes the coefficients with a quantization matrix. Identification information identifying the quantization matrix is provided in the coded stream in predetermined units to reduce the amount of data to be coded. The processor is configured to use a coded quantization matrix for a chroma component rather than a default quantization matrix.

    摘要: A method of decoding includes decoding a coded stream obtained by coding first and second groups for each access unit including a picture of the first group and a corresponding picture of the second group, wherein the first and second groups are captured at different view points. The method includes determining whether the picture of the first group is synchronized with the picture of the second group, within the access unit, and decoding the picture of the first group using a generated predictive picture of the first group. The method also includes decoding the picture of the second group, using one of (i) a predictive picture generated from the second group and (ii) the predictive picture generated from the first group.

    摘要: A decoding method includes: obtaining a plurality of quantization parameter sets from a header of a coded stream (S400); parsing an identifier from a header of a coded picture included in the coded stream (S402); selecting at least one quantization parameter set from among the plurality of quantization parameter sets, based on the parsed identifier (S404); determining whether a flag parsed from the header of the coded picture has a predetermined value (S408); generating a new quantization matrix from another quantization matrix when the flag has the predetermined value (S410); decoding the coded picture by inversely quantizing the coded picture using the generated new quantization matrix (S412); and decoding the coded picture by inversely quantizing the coded picture using a quantization matrix included in the selected quantization parameter set when the flag does not have the predetermined value (S414).
