    Abstract: A motor controller for an electric motor is provided. The electric motor is configured to drive a blower to generate an airflow. The motor controller includes a memory and a processor coupled thereto. The memory is configured to store a speed-to-airflow ratio associated with an airflow restriction on the blower. The processor is configured to receive a command for a calibrating airflow and operate the electric motor in a constant airflow mode to generate the calibrating airflow at a calibrating speed. The processor is further configured to write the calibrating speed and the calibrating airflow to the memory as the speed-to-airflow ratio.

    Abstract: An electric machine includes a motor assembly including a motor controller including an NFC tuned circuit. The electric machine also includes a motor housing defining an interior space and enclosing the motor assembly within the interior space. The electric machine further includes an electric machine housing. The motor housing is enclosed within the electric machine housing. The electric machine also includes an NFC antenna mounted within the electric machine housing and configured to emit a magnetic field at a selected frequency. The magnetic field is configured to induce an electric current in the NFC tuned circuit. The electric machine further includes a memory configured to store information included in signals transmitted between the NFC antenna and the NFC tuned circuit via the magnetic field.

    Abstract: A centrifugal blower assembly comprises a scroll wall and a pair of opposing sidewalls. The scroll wall is positioned between the pair of opposing sidewalls such that the scroll wall and opposing sidewalls together define a blower chamber and a blower outlet. The blower outlet defines a blower outlet area. An adjustable outlet plate is pivotably coupled to the pair of opposing sidewalls such that the adjustable outlet plate is moveable between a first position to define a first blower outlet area and a second position to define a second blower outlet area.

    Abstract: An EMI filter is described that includes an input having first and second input terminals, and an output having first and second output terminals. A first conductive path is defined between the first input and output terminals, and a second conductive path is defined between the second input and output terminals. The EMI filter also includes a first choke device coupled across the first and second conductive paths, and a first Y capacitor including a first end and a second end opposite the first end, the first end coupled to the first conductive path downstream from the first choke device. The EMI filter further includes a second Y capacitor including a first end and a second end opposite the first end, the first end coupled to the second conductive path downstream from the first choke device, and a second choke device coupled to an inverter output.
