Abstract: An explosive threat mitigation unit (TMU) stands ready to receive a suspected bomb, enclose it, and contain the explosion if one occurs. An operator protects bystanders and surroundings by putting the suspected bomb in a TMU and then closing the TMU. If the bomb goes off, the TMU mitigates the effects of both the blast and the fragments. One variation has a container, a tube, a cap, and a door. The container includes an opening. The tube, arranged in the container, aligns with the opening. The cap slides through the opening and over the tube. The door slides into place to close the opening and enclose the cap within the container.

Abstract: An online host method to verify hosted information associated with a user includes establishing, by the online host serving as a relying party system (RPS), a secure connection between the RPS and a user mobile-identification-credential device (UMD). The RPS sends a mobile identification credential (MIC) user information request to the UMD, via the secure connection, seeking release of MIC user information (official information). The RPS obtains from authorizing party system (APS) verification of the MIC user information received in response to the MIC user information request. The RPS stores the MIC user information as hosted information pertaining to the user. The RPS designates the hosted information as base truth information representing the user.

Abstract: A method for verifying an identity of an individual as a first party via a first party system by a second party system comprises: sending a request for identification information of the first party; receiving first party information associated with a mobile identification credential (MIC) which the first party system received from an authorizing party system (APS) before the second party system sends the request for identification information of the first party to the first party system, the first party having consented to release the first party information to the second party system, and the first party information having been verified by the APS before the APS sends the MIC to the first party system; using the verified first party information associated with the MIC to verify or not verify an identity of the first party; verifying the identity of the first party before providing services to the first party.

Abstract: In one example, an on-wing method for in-situ cutting on a wing-to-fuselage attachment includes attaching a first mount plate having a first linear bearing to provide movement in a first linear direction relative to the first mount plate, attaching a second mount plate having a second linear bearing to provide movement in a second linear direction relative to the second mount plate, attaching a tool mounting member to the second linear bearing to move with the second linear bearing, attaching a cutter to the tool mounting member to be adjustable relative to the second linear bearing, adjusting a depth position of a cut to be made on the wing-to-fuselage attachment, adjusting a width position of the cut, and moving the tool along a length direction of the cut to make the cut on the wing-to-fuselage attachment along the length direction at the adjusted depth position and the adjusted width position.
