摘要： Cymbal mounting systems, devices, components, accessories and related methods are provided. The mounting systems mount a cymbal on a mounting post. The systems include a cymbal mount comprising a sleeve portion elongated along a length configured to extend through a mounting aperture of the cymbal, and comprising a top portion, a bottom portion, and an inner cavity extending from the bottom end along at least a portion of the length configured to mount on the mounting post of the cymbal stand. An outer surface of the sleeve portion varies in maximum cross-sectional size along the length thereof. The systems also include at least one resilient support ring comprising an inner through hole of a cross-sectional size that is smaller than at least a portion of that of the outer surface of the sleeve portion such that the support ring applies a compressive force thereto when mounted thereon.

摘要： A method and apparatus are described including a laser with a plurality of internal or external actuators for affecting an optical frequency of light output by the laser, wherein the plurality of actuators have a corresponding plurality of different frequency response bands for changing optical properties of the laser and a corresponding plurality of actuation ranges of optical frequencies affected. Also included is an optical detector, and a plurality of optical paths configured to direct light output by the laser onto the detector. A laser controller is configured to provide a plurality of inputs to the plurality of actuators based on a detector signal output from the optical detector and the corresponding frequency response bands and actuation ranges.

摘要： Disclosed are compositions, methods, and kits for treating conditions including; ameliorating side effects associated with compounds such as lipase inhibitors; gastrointestinal distress; fecal urgency; obesity; hyperlipidemia; diarrhea; reducing levels of toxic substances; reducing blood cholesterol levels; inducing satiety; effecting weight loss; effecting weight control; and treating, delaying onset and/or preventing Type II diabetes. One embodiment includes compositions for administration to an animal for stiffening lipophilic substances in the gastrointestinal tract. Such stiffening agents have a complete melting point of about 33° C. or greater. Kits comprising the composition are also included. Methods of stiffening lipophilic substances present in the gastrointestinal tract of an animal are also provided. The methods comprise administering a composition comprising a safe and effective amount of a stiffening agent to an animal. The methods also comprise administering a composition comprising a safe and effective amount of a stiffening agent and a safe and effective amount of a lipase inhibitor to an animal.

摘要： A device for retaining an animal on a transport system for moving the animal in a forward direction includes a lower portion operable to retain the animal and an upper portion operable for conveyance by the transport system. The upper portion is attachable to the lower portion, and the upper portion includes a connector for connecting the device to a drive mechanism. The connector has a longitudinal axis. The lower portion is operable for movement between a first position in which a longitudinal axis of the lower portion and the longitudinal axis of the connector are in substantially straight orientation relative to each other, and a second position wherein the longitudinal axis of the lower portion and the longitudinal axis of the connector are in substantially angled orientation relative to one another. The lower portion is substantially inhibited from moving in a rearward direction beyond said first position.

摘要： A method and apparatus for cleaning accumulated silt from the floor of a percolation basin are provided. An underwater terrain vehicle (UTV) moves along the basin floor and carries a series of blades that cut and lift the accumulated silt. An eductor driven vacuum head also carried by the UTV vacuums fragmented silt and transports the entrained fragmented silt through a vacuum hose into a location where the silt particles are separated from the water in which they are entrained. The UTV carries a first sonar for continuously scanning the basin floor and which is utilized to guide the UTV. A second sonar is placed in the basin in a known location and continuously scans and continuously monitors the location of the UTV on the basin floor. An operator remotely guides the UTV from an onshore location.
