Abstract: A nozzle includes a nozzle passage and a fluid passage. The nozzle passage has an airflow inlet and an airflow outlet. The fluid passage has a fluid passage inlet and a fluid passage outlet. The fluid passage inlet communicates with a fluid source so that a fluid can enter the fluid passage, and the fluid passage outlet communicates with the nozzle passage so that the fluid can enter the nozzle passage, and the airflow exerted from the airflow inlet can press the fluid in the nozzle passage out of the airflow outlet. The nozzle provided by the present application can distribute a small volume of a viscous fluid and is not apt to get blocked.

Abstract: Disclosed example systems include: a collecting device, a weighing device, and a control device. The collecting device is disposed in a cooling zone, and is configured to collect contaminants. The collecting device is mounted on the weighing device. The weighing device is configured to weigh the collecting device to obtain weight information of the collecting device. The control device is configured to determine whether the reflow oven needs to be cleaned based on the weight information of the collecting device. The method comprises collecting contaminants in a cooling zone by a collecting device, weighing the collecting device to obtain weight information of the collecting device, and determining whether the reflow oven needs to be cleaned based on the weight information of the collecting device.

Abstract: Systems and methods for cleaning a wire electrode after a welding process has ended are described. During a welding process, a wire electrode may be fed forward from a wire feeder through a welding torch to create a molten weld pool. While, conventionally, feeding of the wire electrode stops when the welding process ends, the present disclosure contemplates instead continuing to feed the wire electrode forward after the welding process ends. More particularly, the present disclosure contemplates feeding the wire electrode into the weld pool so that the wire electrode can be “cleaned” in the molten weld pool created by the welding process. The “cleaned” wire electrode end can be more easily used to establish an electrical arc at the beginning of the next welding process.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for an enclosure providing a sealed environment. The enclosure employs movable paneling that seals an area for a laser welding cell, while allowing access for an operator to load a workpiece in and unload the workpiece from a welding cell. Barriers are arranged on the enclosure, such that in a closed configuration activation of a pneumatic tube forces the barriers to extend toward a rotated paneling, such that the edges of the enclosure contact or overlap with the edges of the paneling to result in a light-tight seal. Presence of the fluid increases the pressure in the tube such that an external boundary of the tube expands, forcing the barrier toward the edges of the paneling, thereby closing the gap and providing a light-tight enclosure.
