摘要: A laser processing device for forming vias has a galvo mirror module, a first lens, a second lens, a focusing module, and a laser source. The laser source emits a laser beam through the first lens and the second lens to convert the laser beam into an incident ring beam. The galvo mirror module reflects the incident ring beam into a reflected ring beam into the focusing module to convert the reflected ring beam into a Bessel-like beam. The galvo mirror module has a scanning direction and shifts a reflection direction of the reflected ring beam to move an end of the reflected ring beam along the scanning direction. The focusing module has a third lens linearly slid along the scanning direction to reduce variations in shape and laser fluence of the Bessel-like beam focused at different positions.

摘要: A laser welding method includes applying a laser beam to a welded member in which a first metal plate and a second metal plate formed of a material having a melting point lower than a melting point of the first metal plate are superposed, to weld the first metal plate and the second metal plate. The laser beam is caused to pass through a diffractive optical element configured to reduce a spot diameter of a focal point of the laser beam and then to pass through a condenser lens such that the laser beam has the spot diameter of the focal point of 0.3 mm or less. The laser beam is applied to the first metal plate.

The control unit acquires operation parameters including a detection value from a detection unit provided in the laser irradiation device, derives predicted quality information by inputting the acquired operation parameters to a learning model that outputs predicted quality information of a product including the substrate irradiated with the laser light in a case where the operation parameters are input, and outputs the derived predicted quality information and the acquired operation parameters in association with each other.

A laser soldering apparatus according to the present technology includes a laser light source, a spatial light modulator (SLM), and a control unit. The laser light source emits laser light. The SLM modulates the laser light incident from the laser light source and irradiates at least one of a solder or a soldering target object with the laser light. The control unit controls the laser light source and the SLM to adjust an irradiation condition of the laser light.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for manufacturing a window from a transparent member. Forming the window may include forming of a groove by irradiating first laser light and removing a portion of a transparent member by irradiating second laser light focused at a depth of the groove. The first laser light may be emitted from a first laser generator and may be irradiated along an edge of a first area defined in a second surface of the transparent member. A second laser light may be focused to the depth of the groove, and thus a portion of the transparent member may be cut. The second laser light may be emitted by a second laser generator, and a focus of the second laser light may be located within the transparent member.

摘要: A method for laser welding a stack of metal foils to a metal substrate includes securing the stack of metal foils between a surface of the metal substrate and a removable clamp such that a side of the stack, formed by edges of the foils, is located on an interior portion of the surface, and the clamp is set back from the side of the stack. A first laser welding step interconnects the foils with an initial laser-weld joint by serially tracing a plurality of lateral paths along the foil edges with a laser beam. A second laser welding step connects the stack of interconnected foils to the substrate by tracing, with a laser beam, a path along the interface between the initial laser-weld joint and the substrate surface. This two-step laser welding process circumvents the difficulties of welding together materials with highly disparate thicknesses in a single laser-welding operation.

摘要: A welding optical unit includes a collimator for collimating a laser beam, a focusing device for focusing the laser beam toward a workpiece, an adjustable beam shaper configured to shape the laser beam. The beam shaper includes a beam subdivision assembly that includes a cylindrical lens pair comprising two cylindrical lenses with diametrically opposite focal lengths and mutually parallel optical planes. The two cylindrical lenses extend with a curve on at least one side with respect to a common refraction direction perpendicular to the optical planes, and extend translationally invariantly with respect to a common non-refraction direction parallel to the optical planes. The refraction direction and the non-refraction direction extend perpendicularly to the optical axis of the welding optical unit. The welding optical unit further includes a spot distance adjusting device configured to displace the two cylindrical lenses relative to one another with respect to the refraction direction.
