摘要： A washing machine having a steam generating device for directly heating wash water to generate optimum steam, and a method for controlling the same are provided. The method includes sensing a temperature of the steam generating device; controlling water supply means according to the temperature of the steam generating device such that wash water is supplied to the steam generating device; and controlling a quantity of wash water supplied from the water supply means. Further, the steam is supplied so as to rapidly soak laundry, thereby shortening overall washing time, and reducing energy consumption. Also, the steam is sprayed onto the laundry to provide sterilizing effects. Soaking effects of the laundry are improved, as well, so as to increase washing efficiency and eliminate wrinkling.

摘要： A drum-type washing machine having a damper, and method, capable of effectively reducing vibration of a water tub includes a housing, a water tub in the housing, and a damper unit having one end affixed to an outer surface of the water tub and an other end affixed to the housing. The damper unit includes a cylinder having one end affixed to one of the housing and the water tub and a piston having one end affixed to the other one of the housing and the water tub and the other end in the cylinder elastically retractable to reduce the transmitted vibration. A frictional pad is on an inner surface of the cylinder or an outer surface of the piston to come into frictional contact, respectively, with the outer surface of the piston or the inner surface of the cylinder, thereby reducing the vibration of the water tub.

摘要： The present invention relates to an LED lens, in which a planar bottom has a pair of halves symmetrically connected with each other about a reference line and narrowed in the vicinity of the reference line. A pair of substantially semicircular reflecting surfaces are extended from both edges of the bottom connected with both ends of the reference line. A radiating surface is connected with remaining edges of the bottom and semicircular edges of the reflecting surfaces. The reflecting surfaces reflect light beams are introduced from the LED chip through the bottom toward the radiating surface. The radiating surface radiates the light beams to the outside when the light beams are introduced to the radiating surface through reflection from the reflecting surfaces and directly through the bottom, so that the light beams are radiated to the outside in a predetermined beam angle.

A spiral groove for guiding condensed water downwards is formed in the inner circumferential surface of the casing, and a water-collecting container for collecting the condensed water is connected to the lower end of the casing. The cyclone condensing apparatus further includes an air blast fan and a heater in the washing/drying machine, and is connected to an air circulating duct forming a closed circuit together with a dry tub, thereby condensing water from air of high-temperature and high-humidity passed through the dry tub.

The traffic measurement system includes a plurality of measurement devices that collect all of packets flowing through Internet links, extract traffic data required to analyze traffic from the collected packets, and process the extracted data into predetermined flow types, and an analysis server that identifies applications of traffic by analyzing the traffic data transferred from the plurality of measurement devices as a whole, classifies the identified applications into predetermined traffic types, and outputs the classification result. The traffic measurement system measures the traffics in the Internet network and processes the measured traffics to generate detailed traffic statistical data according to applications. In particular, the traffics are analyzed considering measurement data from various points, and the data for identifying the applications are extracted from headers of the applications included in payloads of IP packets in real time. Accordingly, detailed traffic analysis result is provided.

摘要： A washing machine and a control method thereof in which laundry is washed in a state of being directly heated by steam. The washing machine includes a microcomputer for controlling the overall operation of the washing machine to wash laundry by using steam. The microcomputer controls operations of wetting laundry with a small amount of water prior to generation of steam, uniformly spraying detergent over the wet laundry, and injecting steam onto the laundry. Accordingly, it is possible to achieve a reduction in the amount of water to be used and a reduction in wash time while preventing the laundry from being stained or damaged during the wash operation using steam.
