    摘要: An electronic ballast for a fluorescent lamp includes a delay triggered circuit which, upon expiration of a predetermined period during which the lamp filaments, constituting opposite electrodes of the lamp, are preheated, applies high frequency operating voltage across the opposite electrodes of the lamp beginning with a transition from a condition of no voltage to a condition of full rated voltage which occurs within one cycle of the high frequency voltage. The sharp transition from zero "glow current" to full "arc current" at the end of the preheating period has been found to increase the life of lamps in the number of on-off starts, particularly with respect to lamps of poor quality. The rapid transition is possible because the ballast uses the same inverter and transformer for supplying preheating and operating voltages. The operating voltage is applied between the opposite electrodes of the lamp via an electronic bi-directional switch, controlled by a preheating delay RC timing circuit.

An edge of the layer assembly includes a first conduction layer mounting surface formed on the first conduction layer, and a second conduction layer mounting surface formed on the second conduction layer. The insulation layer is located between the first conduction layer mounting surface and the second conduction layer mounting surface. An LED chip first terminal is formed on the LED chip, and an LED chip second terminal is formed on the LED chip.

    摘要: A lamp ballast is provided for attachment to a fluorescent lamp fixture. The ballast is adapted to a direct low profile mounting on a junction box of the lamp fixture by a varying degree of recessed positioning. The ballast has a built-in niche for the recessed mounting and comprises a ballast circuit on a board; a package for enclosing the circuit board save electric wires from and to the ballast circuit at multiple sides including a top surface, bottom surface and sidewalls extending between the top and bottom surfaces; and a flange extending from the sidewalls of the package at a predetermined level between the top and bottom surfaces. Thus, the flange acts as a mounting bracket of the ballast for a varied degree of recessed mounting of the ballast on the lamp fixture.

The present invention utilizes a length contraction occurred to the shape memory alloy component during its phase transformation from martensite to austenite. The length contraction causes a slider, a carrier and a base to move relatively. Also, the present invention utilizes thermal conductivity of the base to speed up heat dissipation of the shape memory alloy component, so that response time for actuating the carrier can be reduced.

The seal ring provides a watertight seal against line opening when locking ring is secured to the ballast. The main housing is mounted to a building surface. A reflector fits between the main housing and a pair of bulbs. The bulbs are retained in end terminals. A main seal bits between main housing and main cover. The clip junction on the main cover receives a housing clip. The housing clip biases the main cover against the main housing with the main seal in between forming a watertight seal.
