    Abstract: Connection issue prediction may be provided. A computing device may receive first Channel State Information (CSI) for a first link associated with a client device. The first CSI may be collected when beamforming was trained on a second link associated with the client device. Second CSI may be received for the first link associated with the client device. The second CSI may be collected at a time subsequent to when beamforming was trained on the second link associated with the client device. A correlation between the first CSI and the second CSI may be determined to be below a predetermined threshold. A status of the beamforming performed on the second link associated with the client device may be set to stale in response to determining that the correlation between the first CSI and the second CSI is below the predetermined threshold.

    Abstract: Preemption in wireless may be provided. Access Category (AC) parameters may be received for a preemption AC within a plurality of ACs. The preemption AC parameters may comprise a Contention Window maximum (CWmax) comprising a first predetermined value and a preemption Arbitrary Interframe Space Number (AIFSN) of less than or equal to a second predetermined value.     Abstract: In one embodiment, a method comprises first causing, by a controller device, wireless access points (APs) to allocate first non-interfering wireless channels for a prescribed reliable data service for wireless client devices in a WLAN; second causing the wireless APs to allocate a second shared channel having a bandwidth that is greater than the corresponding bandwidth of any of the first non-interfering wireless channels; allocating for each wireless client device a corresponding location service interval on the second shared channel for transmission of at least a corresponding identifiable wireless data unit for locating the corresponding wireless client device between two or more of the wireless APs; and determining a location of at least one of the wireless client devices based on reception of at least the corresponding wireless data unit between the one wireless client device and the two or more wireless APs during the corresponding location service interval.

    Abstract: Presented herein are techniques for assigning Ultra-Wideband (UWB) anchors for client ranging. A control device can monitor UWB ranging between a mobile device and a primary anchor. In response to determining that a signal strength between the mobile device and the primary anchor is below a threshold, the control device can identify anchors for which the mobile device has had a signal strength above the threshold during a period of time, and select one of the anchors as a new primary anchor for the mobile device. For example, the control device can select the new primary anchor based on a relative collision tolerance mapping for the new primary anchor and at least one other anchor within a UWB range of the new primary anchor. The control device can send a command causing UWB ranging to be performed between the mobile device and the new primary anchor.

    Abstract: Presented herein are techniques for assigning Ultra-Wideband (UWB) anchors for client ranging. A location server can estimate a coarse location of a mobile device using a localization technique other than a UWB localization technique. The localization technique can involve multiple wireless access points or other radio devices. The location server can define an area around the coarse location to identify a set of candidate anchors for UWB ranging. The set of candidate anchors can be disposed within the area and include at least a subset of the radio devices. The location server can modify the set of candidate anchors to create a modified set of candidate anchors that includes only UWB-enabled devices. The location server can select a primary anchor from the modified set of candidate anchors and send a command to cause a UWB ranging procedure to be initiated between the primary anchor and the mobile device.
