    摘要: A tailgate closure mechanism for a tailgate hoist serves to move the tailgate from the horizontal position in which it functions as a platform to the upright position in which it functions as a gate. The closure mechanism includes a closing slide which is slidably mounted on at least one of the tailgate support slides and a connecting link that connects the slide to the tailgate. A drive mechanism is provided to drive the closing side toward its raised position. The drive mechanism may be in the form of an hydraulic ram, a compression spring or a combination ram and spring.

The call center may be accessed by telephone, computer, or via another type of customer premises equipment over a voice or data network. The RFID tag may be an identification tag provided to the customer for access to the call center or may be a tag associated with the customer and not specific to the call center. The call center may route calls based on routing information contained in the RFID tag information, customer identity and previous sessions with that customer, personal and demographic information and statistical support records for other sessions involving customers with similar personal and demographic information, and according to agent statistical support records.

    摘要: A system for accurately detecting the unavailability of a call center agent that uses one or more agent sensors provided in the area of the agent's desk or station that are triggered when the agent moves into or out of the physical area in which he or she can answer calls. The agent sensor may be an external hardware peripheral device which communicates with a call center software application. The agent sensor operates to notify the call center application when an associated agent leaves their desk, so that the call center application can make that agent unavailable to receive calls as a result. When the agent returns, another signal may be sent from the sensor to the call center application indicating that the agent is again available to receive calls. The information gathered by the call center application from the sensor signals may be used to assist in report generation regarding call center agents, and to improve call center performance, since calls are not forwarded to agents that have stepped away from their desk, even for a brief moment.

    摘要: One embodiment of the present invention provides a system that facilitates performing operations on a lock-free double-ended queue (deque). This deque is implemented as a doubly-linked list of nodes formed into a ring, so that node pointers in one direction form an inner ring, and node pointers in the other direction form an outer ring. The deque has an inner hat, which points to a node next to the last occupied node along the inner ring, and an outer hat, which points to a node next to the last occupied node along the outer ring. The system uses a double compare-and-swap (DCAS) operation while performing pop and push operations onto either end of the deque, as well as growing and shrinking operations to change the number of nodes that are in the ring used by the deque.
