    Abstract: A communication method and an apparatus are provided. The method includes: A communication apparatus may send uplink capability information to a network device, where the uplink capability information includes at least one of the following: a maximum quantity of uplink carriers configured for the communication apparatus, a maximum quantity of uplink carriers supported by the communication apparatus, and a maximum quantity of channels supported by the communication apparatus. Further, the communication apparatus receives first information from the network device, where the first information indicates an uplink carrier used for uplink transmission, and performs uplink transmission with the network device on the uplink carrier. The communication apparatus may be a terminal device.

    Abstract: This application provides an example method and an example apparatus for generating hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) information. The method includes receiving, by a terminal device, a first message sent by a network device. The first message is used to indicate that there are a plurality of active bandwidth parts (BWPs) in a cell or that there are M BWP groups in the cell, the M BWP groups may be obtained by dividing, by the network device, N configured BWPs, any BWP group includes an active BWP, M and N are integers greater than or equal to 2, and M is less than or equal to N. The method also includes generating, by the terminal device, HARQ information based on the plurality of active BWPs or the M BWP groups.

The signal demodulation method includes: a terminal device receives a first tracking reference signal from a first transmission reception apparatus of a single frequency network cell; a second tracking reference signal occupying different time-frequency from the first tracking reference signal from a second transmission reception apparatus of the single frequency network cell; and receives indication information indicating tracking reference signals from the first transmission reception apparatus or the second transmission reception apparatus; determines, based on the one or more tracking reference signals for receiving the downlink signal, a first carrier frequency on which the downlink signal is to be received; receives the demodulation reference signal and the downlink data based on the first carrier frequency; and demodulates the downlink data based on the demodulation signal.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a method for processing information bits in a wireless communication network.     Abstract: A method for determining time information is disclosed. The method includes: obtaining, by a network node, information sent by a terminal device; and determining, by the network node, at least one of the following based on the information: a first time interval between downlink scheduling and downlink data transmission, a second time interval between the downlink data transmission and a feedback message sent by the terminal device after the terminal device receives downlink data, and a third time interval between uplink scheduling and uplink data transmission, where the information may include at least one of a subcarrier spacing, an operating band, and a bandwidth that are supported by the terminal device, and further include a first smallest value and/or a second smallest value and/or a third smallest value corresponding to the at least one item. Therefore, flexibility and accuracy of determining the time information are improved.

    Abstract: This application provides a parameter determining method, a monitoring method, and a communications apparatus. The method includes: configuring, by a network device, a plurality of serving cells for a terminal, where at least two of the plurality of serving cells have different subcarrier spacings; and determining, by the network device based on at least one of subcarrier spacings of the plurality of serving cells, a maximum number of physical downlink control channel PDCCH candidates monitored by the terminal in a unit time. According to this application, a maximum number of PDCCH candidates monitored by a terminal in one time unit can be determined when carriers for carrier aggregation correspond to different subcarrier spacings.

    Abstract: This application provides methods and apparatuses for sending a HARQ-ACK feedback codebook. One example method includes detecting DCI in a plurality of time units corresponding to at least one carrier, where a type of the DCI is a first DCI type or a second DCI type, where the first DCI is used to indicate to feed back CBG-level HARQ-ACK information for data scheduled by the first DCI, and where the second DCI is used to indicate to feed back TB-level HARQ-ACK information for data scheduled by the second DCI. A HARQ-ACK feedback codebook is then sent to a network device, where the codebook includes HARQ-ACK information of at least one piece of data scheduled by the DCI, and the HARQ-ACK feedback codebook is determined according to the type of the DCI and a type of the HARQ-ACK feedback codebook.
