The present invention discloses a spectrum sharing method and apparatus thereof. The method includes: acquiring a cycle period of a shared frequency between a first system and a second system; obtaining time slice allocation information of the cycle period; and sending the time slice allocation information to a user equipment. By means of the foregoing manner, a shared frequency can be allocated, so that efficiency of transmitting system data can be effectively improved.

A method for indicating discontinuous data scheduling includes receiving discontinuous reception (DRX) indication information on an Iur interface; and sending discontinuous scheduling indication information to a base station according to the DRX indication information. A communication system and a radio network control device for implementing the method are also provided.

Provided are a system for implementing multiple Radio Access Networks (RANs) convergence and a method thereof in the present invention. The method includes: an anchor RAN establishes a connection with a User Equipment (UE); the anchor receives a RAB establishment request from a Core Network (CN); the anchor RAN selects an auxiliary RAN; the anchor RAN sends quality of service (QoS) parameters to the auxiliary RAN, so that the auxiliary RAN establishes a connection with the UE according to the QoS parameters, while the anchor RAN keep the connection with the UE. With the methods provided in embodiments for the present invention, multiple RANs convergence is implemented, and the UE establishes connections with the anchor RAN and the auxiliary RAN at the same time, so as to improve the peak rate of the UE.

A method for switching of multi-carrier and device are provided. The method comprises: receiving a message sent from a source RAN node corresponding to a first link and comprising information of a second link; according to the information of the second link, establishing a connection between a target RAN node corresponding to the first link and an RAN node corresponding to the second link, so as to perform data transmission. The first link is a link in a first Radio Access Technology (RAT) network, and the second link is a link in a second RAT network. Embodiments of the present invention can ensure the continuity of the throughput of data transmission during switching under aggregation of multiple RAT carriers.

According to the embodiments of the present invention, a report measurement can be implemented between a radio network controller and a user equipment in a CELL_FACH state by using a current MC message and a current MR message; and in a process of implementing the report measurement, coordination between the report measurement and a cell reselection measurement executed by the user equipment can be implemented to minimize an impact of the report measurement on the cell reselection measurement.

The method includes: configuring a carrier as a primary carrier and configuring other carriers as secondary carriers according to an indication message sent by a network; setting a reporting format, where the reporting format includes a first reporting format and a second reporting format, the first reporting format includes UPH, TEBS, HLBS, and HLID information in sequence from left to right, a total length of the second reporting format is the same as that of the first reporting format, the second reporting format includes first information and second information, the first information includes UPH information of one or more secondary carriers, and the second information includes reserved bit information or format identification bit information; and reporting scheduling information in the reporting format to the network.

The present application provides a method for accessing a wireless local area network, a base station controller, and a user equipment. The method includes: determining, by a base station controller of a user equipment, a first access point set, and sending information about the first access point set to the user equipment; and determining, by the user equipment according to the first access point set, an access point for accessing a wireless local area network. In embodiments of the present application, when a user equipment needs to access a wireless local area network through an access point to access the Internet, a base station controller may notify the user equipment of an available access point. In this way, the user equipment can access the wireless local area network directly through the available access point and does not need to request a password from an operator and enter the password during access.

The present application discloses a method, a device, and a system for reporting a signal quality measurement result, relates to the field of communications, and implements reporting of an adjacent-frequency signal quality measurement result by a terminal. Embodiments of the present application disclose a method for reporting a signal quality measurement result, including: receiving adjacent frequency information, an adjacent-frequency signal quality reporting amount, and a reporting threshold corresponding to the adjacent-frequency signal quality reporting amount from a radio network node; according to the adjacent frequency information, performing measurement to obtain an adjacent-frequency signal quality measurement result; and reporting the adjacent-frequency signal quality measurement result in a preset bit string format to the radio network node. The embodiments of the present application are mainly used for redirection, handover, and cell change operations of a terminal.
